Front license plate horror show
I was expecting some kind of install gone wrong story by the title of this thread but drilling a couple tiny holes for rivets in the front bumper to hold a license plate on does not exactly strike me as a "horror show" I could see it being a bigger deal on a high end sportscar but on the mom... -
Front license plate horror show
WA state they absolutely love to pull you over for not running a front plate. I’ve actually been stopped multiple times in the past, ticketed twice. They use it as an excuse to see what other dirt they can find. Not worth the risk if you’re ridin dirty -

I too would guess most who can legitimately afford one of these vehicles probably aren’t too concerned with the fuel mileage or rising gas prices. Interesting...I've owned a 5.3 equipped vehicle for 10 years now and NEVER have seen over 20 and I drive like a little old lady most the time. I did a 1K mile round trip all highway when we first bought our '21 and both hand calculating and the computer came back at 18.4 mpg- R32driver

Floor Mats
Front row weathertechs are legit but the 2nd row is kinda BS. Edges roll up and it won't lay flat at all. I don't ever see the 3rd row so can't really comment on them. Cargo area mat is just fine -

Real Life MPG 5.3 / 6.2
I don't calculate fuel milage as I really don't care and did not buy a massive yukon xl with any delusion it would get remotely good milage but according to the dash our lifetime average at 10k miles with our 5.3 has been 17.5 mpg. That is better than most of our other vehicles so zero...- R32driver

Gas prices making anyone reconsider?
I saw low grade at $5.60 a gallon this morning and diesel was $6.20 here in the PNW. I've noticed diesel is quite a bit more $$ than gas at every station around. Didn't even want to see what they were asking for premium as I rolled by in the v8 audi that needs premium and gets horrible mileage- R32driver

Have you gone back under and looked if there's been any contact between that bolt and the axleshaft boot? I'm curious if they actually ever make contact or if the dealer was just blowing smoke cause the upper kit takes longer to install and they make more money...- R32driver

That new sequoia is a pretty hot looking ride, gonna give gm and ford a run for their money. And Toyota has hands down the best looking color options these days. Some of the colors I see on tacomas and 4Runners are out of this world.- R32driver

^This...it's just the way it is if you actually drive your vehicle. Get a few years and 10's of thousands of miles down the road and those clear wraps look awful covered in chips and marks, no better than chipped paint IMO. I'm much more worried about door dings at the grocery store than little... -
