My 2015 Yukon Denali has over 400,000 miles. It's 10 years old today!

Lack of art too. Just a lazy grill and big screen. The headlights looks like the GMC/Chevy. The 2015-2020 Escalade had beautiful dash and headlights. I can definitely afford the new body but when my 2018 starts to fall off I will look for a super low mile 2020 then do the full delete as soon as...

My 2015 Yukon Denali has over 400,000 miles. It's 10 years old today!

I rented a 2022 Escalade for a week and I was not impressed. It felt like a 2500 HD truck or Expedition. It was too big and didn't have the car feel like my 2018 Escalade. I recently replaced my front and rear struts/shocks oem. I also changed my tires to Michelin Defender LTX. I noticed the new...

Replace or reupholster drivers seat - 2017 Tahoe LT

I replaced my front seat bottoms OEM on my 2018 Escalade. The parts are cheap. I paid for the foam and leather around $600. I did not have to remove the seat. It came out awesome. The second row got damaged from my child's car seat so I found new takeoffs on Ebay for $250. I replaced the 2nd row...

Time to Upgrade? Or am I just bored?!

I totally agree. Its not price but more the 1500 Truck vs the new GM Navigator.

My 2015 Yukon Denali has over 400,000 miles. It's 10 years old today!

Woah I am hoping to keep my 2018 for as long as possible. I was not the original owner. I bought my truck in 2022 with 48k. I did have the passenger lifters fail at 79k & driver side lifters that ate the camshaft at 108k. I am changing my oil every 4k now and transmission every 45k. The new...

2016 Yukon SLT. Looking at Buying for first time.

Stay with a 2018-2020 RST, Denali or Escalade luxury. The 2015-2017 had the 6 & 8 speed which lasts 100k. Just look on this or any forum and see how many people changing out threes transmission at 80-100k. No one complaining about the 10 speed.

    100,000 mile club

I have a 2018 Escalade 10 speed with 113k. I replaced my passenger lifters at 79k & driver lifters & camshaft at 107k. I bought the truck with 47k lease return where the owner went by the OLM. The transmission has been great. I will not go over 4k Castro oil Dexos 1 gen. 2/3 oil now.

Time to Upgrade? Or am I just bored?!

For the Escalade the k2 and for the GMC & Chevy I would say the new one. The k2 is starting to look aged.

Looking at a 2018 6.2 with 225K...Good idea or bad

Put the money into a lower mile less then 75k or spend later for a new engine and transmission. Your truck will not be valuable neither. I say absolutely not unless it has a new engine and transmission with warranty.

Would you buy your Yukon/Tahoe again?

He’ll yeah. It is the last real 1500 SUV with solid rear axle. I have a 2018 with 112k now and it looks showroom. When it’s time to change it I will get a 2018-2020. 10 speed only not 6 or 8 speed.

Moving up from 2008 LS to 2020 ls or LT?

My 2008 Escalade lasted me 14 years 207k. I put new engine 190k and transmission at 150k. I was not nice to my 2008.

Moving up from 2008 LS to 2020 ls or LT?

I had all Escalades except current gen and the k2 is the best. I did have lifter issues passenger at 79k & 108k driver side. You need to change the oil Castro oil Dexos 1 gen 2/3 every 4k or less. If you can afford to do the complete delete then it would be the best choice. Only the 2018-2020...

Moving up from 2008 LS to 2020 ls or LT?

Black exterior has paint issues. Stay white or light colors. GM has a major lawsuit over this. Black is difficult to keep nice. I even seen members that wax and ceramic there trucks have issues.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Torque to 18 lbs. I had them and they made my truck stiff. I only use oem for the front and Duralast gold for the rears.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Get OEM ones for the fronts and Duralast Gold for the rears. I tried the Duralast gold for the front but it made the ride stiff and they didn’t settle correct when I torqued to 18lbs. factory spec. I changed to oem and all was good. The rears I recommend Duralast gold which is more thicker and...

2016/2017 Yukon Denali long term reliability

Get the 2018-2020 6.2 10 speed. The 10 speed is the most reliable transmission. The 6 speed has torque converter issues and 8 speed had problems too.

Fix and Keep My 2015 GMC Yukon SLT or Get Rid of It?

Just know if the transmission or engine has not been replaced then you will have to replace soon. The engine is at the end of its life and the transmission is overdue. You are going to need 6-10k each. Sell it and get one with low miles and ask your dealer to get you a warranty power train contract.

    2018 gmc denali condenser replaces

If it’s working then leave it. You don’t want to remove it and something else break. Sometimes aftermarket is better than OEM. I have 112k on my 2018 Escalade and my original condenser has not failed yet.

2015 Yukon Denali - If I disconnect the battery for a period of time, what will be reset?

It won’t clear a code. Maybe it will clear for a day but will come back until you fix the underlying issue.

    100,000 mile club

I was thinking the same but I am really being honest. The DuraLast brand is a great brand. I had great success with the front upper/lower control arms from the Duralast Gold as well as the rear sway-bar end-links. The lifetime warranty is also great. When you are ready for control arms take a...
