Follow through with chevy tahoe and ann that. I bought these used off ebay, which was a gamble but I knew I could get my money back based on the description if it wasn't right or damaged.
I have that 7 pin zip tied up under the frame /behind the bumper right now. Havent decided what I want to do with it.
And you can find them cheaper, mine were 110 shipped, but I took a risk with that.

I used to sit 4" off the ground static with my old blue truck so I know all about that type of shit lol... aucks big ones!
Put them through over 7 hours (3 hours one way, then around town, then 3 hours back) of driving today on some sketchy interstate and roads and no hits.
But these clear...
Wheels are setup where I need them. Found some 3" BORA spacers for a great price which tells me how much clearance I have for this height of tire... very happy with this stance. Now to save for proper wheels. Lol
And I finished the helper bag setup last night. Need to ream out one of these...
came across an escalade rear bumper that I have seen bolted up to obs tahoes/yukons... but haven't been able to find anything to show it on an nbs.
Anyone ever see this or know if it would bolt up?
Also, this isn't the bumper that has the backup sensors... looks like an obs escalade?
Honestly, ill probably find another denali cover at a yard and make smaller cuts, then chop this up to fill in the left side of the hitch where the wiring used to be. Make it seamless and repaint. But who knows.
And today i threw the new class 5 hitch I picked up from wtrailer.com for $150 shipped... heres the link, though its listed at $212 now. *shrug*
Didn't realize it hung lower on the sides so I made some cuts... not terribly disappointed with how this looks lol. Plan to change it up in some way...
It's just sand paper and paint lol. Ill fix it when I do the front bumper since that piece just pops off.
But honestly, this whole truck needs a replay at this point. Good thing I'm back in the land that has people I know that do some dern good work without charging an arm and a leg... a...
Oh I was irritated to high hell. Even found the car that did it, since I had the broken piece of their taillight that was sitting next to my car. After seeing the car, and the temp plate that expired in April, I knew it was pointless to try and force a fix so I just left a note in hopes they...
Made it to TN.. transport mode really sucks. Hate how the tahoe looks, but gives me a reason to put some effort into it.
At the same time, someone swiped the side of the tahoe after I pulled it off the transport and parked it in the hotel lot while I unloaded and returned everyrhing... only...
tahoe's is going to be loaded up on a hauler behind a 26' uhaul unfortunately. Due to the delay in paperwork for me to be allowed to move, we have to pack and move everything on our own and be out of our current house by the 1st. Long story.
But while we are currently packing, we started...
And I picked up a bike hauler which will make the cross country trek possible. No need to ship or sell the bike.
Before I drive it, gonna figure out the helper bag setup.
And honestly, I like the proportions of the 24s better. These seem too small to me. But, my future plans (distant tbh) with 22s and a similar diameter tire to what im running now will sit very right and work perfectly.
there is a slight rake, but i don't know the exact numbers. But guessing off the settled.ride height, 31" up front and 32-33" in the back maybe.
265/50s on these.
lol, and I'm moving back to Nashville on the 1st.
Appreciate it. But, remaining humble, you should be decent at anything you've been doing for over 30 years, right? Lol
But, I took some photos in daylight. Kinda dig it, but I think some deep dish 22s would look right as rain on this thing.
lol, I call it the Whitaker setup. Whole idea is kind of a bobber styled Cafe racer that's been left to rot. Lol. Kind of a rat bike, but not really belonging to any of the genres.
thank you!
this is definitely a lot easier than working on the tahoe lol.
appreciate it!
its getting there.
The...
@ivin74 they are OEM 5 spoke declads. Found a set for a great price.
@SirReal63 @Rocket Man GS850 it is. Picked it up with a full spare motor for $500. Been building it from random shit in the garage to get it running for summer in Tennessee. And now... its kinda something else lol.
I am. Deciding what I really want to do in the future. Based on my decision habits, I need to keep two sets for when I make a random decision lol.
I know. Been frigging busy drawing and building a bike...
And I haven't updated shit on this thing other than the mileage and an oil change lol.
It needs lot of love, but I've been focusing on getting a $500 motorcycle transport ready when I move back to Tennessee. And with the impending move, I'm progressing one mod thats been sitting for a bit...
