    2008 Yukon Denali Transmission Swap

I'm looking forward to your updates on trying solenoids. I know you want to save up but a full valve body replacement could be done. Not only solenoids, but seals and other parts in the valve body can go bad. I'm eyeing something like this from Sonnax...

    Future 2020/21 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban

I know the benefits of IRS and accept I'm probably just being reactive and irrational, but I just don't like it. Yeah I have a IFS. The solid axle rear and body on frame toughness makes up for it. Those arms hanging low. Gross. Reminds me of a Honda CR-V

New Owner - 2013 Yukon XL Denali-Very High Mileage

Oh no, engine is dead. I need a new long block, with forged pistons, thick connecting rods, uhhh and a upgraded cam. Just tell the wife I'm getting a new engine, nothing special.

New Owner - 2013 Yukon XL Denali-Very High Mileage

I just checked my 08 Denali with 160k miles. I have exactly 4995 hours. Fuel usage is 9999+ gallons. She stopped counting, ha!

Wet passenger floor in my 05 Tahoe

My 02 had this. The AC drain was plugged. Climb under the passenger wheel and jam a coat hanger or long flexible plastic something or other up the drain. Be careful, I took a bath when mine let loose.

New Owner - 2013 Yukon XL Denali-Very High Mileage

Thats darn clean. I've never had a car without rust. Be careful when thinking about replacing trans fluids. New detergents can dislodge otherwise stable crap and block passages etc. I've got a 160k miles on unknown trans fluid change cycle. I'm not touching it until I rebuild it.

    New to me 17’ LS

Stock idle will be lumpy. I tuned both of my Yukons to idle at around 750rpm. High flowing heads supposedly make it hard to perfectly meter small amounts of air for smooth low RPM idle. I take the high flowing head idle issues in the same vein as my piston slap due to short skirts and looser...

    Skid Plates for our GMT900s?

Procomp 51104, looks like they require a 6inch lift. Maybe I can mod them? Very pretty and in the vein I'm looking for.

    Skid Plates for our GMT900s?

I can't find a skid plate for my AWD 2008 Denali. Any leads? Not stock ones, but something cool. Ya know, something that says I vape, wear a flat billed hat and No Fear gear.

    Rear End Clunk Sound

Its common. I have it on my 160k mile 08 Denali. That said if you do grease up the splines don't use too much grease. Some say you might introduce grease into the xfer case. I have doubts on how much an issue it would present though. I just bought a xfer case rebuild kit with new chain...

    What’s your MPG

I don't have y'alls model, but those are nice numbers. My 08 6.2 Denali got 20 mpg highway at sustained 85 mph on a cross country trip. She does NOT get your 16mpg city. The new models are impressive city for sure.

    Broken Motor Mounts

My Gen IV 6.2 as a lumpy idle stock. I feel just a tad more vibration with the H3 mounts at idle over the stock mounts. Driving there is no difference.

    2008 Yukon Denali, 135k miles, part 2!!

Got a rebuild kit for my BW4485 transfer case. Then I'll get a performance driveshaft. Good bearings in this kit. NT and Nachi. Real BW chain too.
