    2022 Denali Perimeter Lighting

It would seem that a dealership should be able to explain vehicle functions and if they don't know demand they find out. We make too many excuses for poor service.

6.2L Engine... What gas are you using?

I am coming up with $13.50 more per tank. At $93.50 per tank it makes sense.

HUD - Speed Limit box won't stay gone

I'm leaning toward the Denali because it has a nice flat area on the dash to put my Garmin.

Today I'm leaning toward a Tahoe Premier a few days ago I was pricing a Denali with a few options. I thought the number may be useful negotiating.

    Chip/scratch prevention preferred method?

Vehicles used to hold up well enough to worry about their appearance in 10 years, will these? I'm one to hand wash and wax and hold long term but thinking of changing strategy with these newer ones. Flip 'em before they break. This will no doubt be far costlier but isn't that the intention -...

$1100 for a water pump and flush?

I was surprised also. Last April it was the ECM which I also thought strange. I let them do the flush thinking it possible contaminated coolant might have caused it to go early. I pamper my Hoe and she is not returning the love this year.

    Sigh. The stealership strikes again

My first quote was $1100 for a water pump and flush. I balked and was able to get them down to $900. I'm 67 and retired that means vulnerable to price hikes and unable to do it myself. As an added bonus I notice when pulling into the garage that the tappets are louder. Wonder how much revving...

    Chip/scratch prevention preferred method?

Leaving a space between mine and the vehicle in front have reduced the amount of chips tremendously. It's easy not to crawl up someone's tailpipe the problem is those who swerve in front as they pass as if someone is going to take their seat.

GM: Production to return to normal this year as a chip shortage eases

Please don't put words in my mouth to help your argument. Anecdotal sure but I've been a GM owner for decades and during my visit this week to a GM service center I mentioned why I am keeping my 2012 rather than trade for a new Tahoe. This elicited agreement from every tech service person...

GM: Production to return to normal this year as a chip shortage eases

Their strategy included building faulty trucks and suvs and then doing the minimum to help the purchasers who had problems. Sorry I can't credit them for that. Go buy a used car that the owner knows has a defect but doesn't tell you so he can get top dollar would you actually credit that...

$1100 for a water pump and flush?

Oh no and neither would I but with an ECM replacement 9 months ago repairs costs have my attention. I like my Ol' Hoe but as with others having more money than sense I have a wondering eye. I probably would have traded this year if the new ones were ready for prime time.
