    I'll admit, I like white face gauges (esp in a white Tahoe) but I'm not a huge fan of the white wings where the indicator warning lights are. And I know there are a few white face overlays available that are black in that area already, but I still have the OEM black overlay sitting here doing...

    So in fact: they did away with the glove comp light/switch assy, foot well lights, and the rear door lights. Even tho the metal frame is still cut for the socket to snap into in the foot wells. So I went ahead and cut out all those sockets to put in the '05

    Still have the factory head unit? Not in it, but I do have it. As for the amplifier. I'm sure it's there, but don't quote me on that. 2 ohm speakers huh?

    Nice! Mine did too! I had a buddy with a Z71 back when I still had my '02 LT and talked him into swapping the front bumper assy with me because he was already in the process of trying to sell the truck so he didn't really care one way or the other. And the fog lights kinda match the hole shape...

Is that something they did away with since the 2002 models? Cuz my '02 LT has them and I'd like to have them on my '05...

    I got front grill almost ready for paint. That chrome don't play! Then took door panels completely apart, cleaned everything, painted the speaker grills, and changed out the yellow indicator LEDs to red in the seat heater button assy. I'm gonna need to figure out what kind of speakers to replace...

    Got the auxiliary battery tray installed today and finished swapping over all the brakes and getting em cleaned up. And I took these emblems off the sides to try and refurbish em somehow. Should I try to repaint the Z or take off all the red and leave em chrome?

    The black trim on the rear bumper step seems to have been painted black. The ones on my '02 are actual black plastic. No paint. Is that a cheap aftermarket thing or what?
