    I forgot to mention... I was a Cub Scout in 4th-5th grade, won a spelling bee in 6th grade (I spelled 'Anxiety', mainly by paying attention to all the failed spellings before my turn :)), and was in the Glee Club in 7th grade. joe

    Well... I think it was supposed to happen before any repairs or 'tricks' were tried. I know one guy claimed he was limited to 80 MPH, but I don't drive that fast anymore. joe

    Yeah, I've already read a few variations of that- do the compressor, do the shocks, and do both. Fuses have come up once or twice now, so does anyone have solid knowledge about them? joe

    (I don't know if I've said this yet, but my compressor does not work. I don't even know if it's still there.) So any way, thanks man. I'm saving this but, again, I'd feel better if the resistors' specs were given. I suspect that even if they don't do what I want, they can't do any harm; but...

    LOL, my crawling around under my truck days are all behind me. I stopped and talked to my mechanic today. He had a general awareness of the resistor install solution, but didn't know any specifics. He's willing to try it though. joe
