I used these covers on a number of vehicles over the years. I had a Lightning F150 that would sit in a drivers lot outdoors for weeks at a time in Florida when I was was driving semis. Always stayed in place.

I comment on my personal experiences good and bad. Maybe Yukon owners hang on to their trucks longer but there are plenty of truck owners GMC, Ford and Ram that trade every couple of years. You'll find my posts on those forums. I'm not atypical there. And, I'm not atypical in my sub. Plenty of...
I was in the business for over 20 years in 80's, 90's and early 2000's. You know what? The service lots were always full with cars with issues and the service department always slammed with customers having to wait to drop off their cars. They weren't "perfect" back then and if there were forums...
But.... How can you personally comment on them without owning them. My neighbor traded his 2022 Yukon 5.3l in with about 85,000 miles on it for a 2025 Yukon 3.0l. The worst thing he had go wrong with his 2022 was 2 cracked aluminum rims (Michigan pot holes). He's out of the 3/36 with the 2025...
You are right. It was a Denali not Ultimate.
Motor Week? I've been watching it for decades (it records Sunday mornings for metro Detroit). I think it's pretty unbiased. Their road tests just focus on the vehicle with features and performance data. The 2026 Dodge Charger is their top car this...
The Yukon didn't do all that great. Fuel economy, interior materials, seats all cons. Vertical display wasn't a plus. Expedition won. I think GMC should have used the regular Denali and not the Ultimate
It's not deterring me from ordering one. I will "fix" the economy with the diesel. I'm...
We did the fluid exchange using BG equipment at the Ford and Lincoln dealers I was at. I don't recall any sort of recurring issues. Let it run til the fluid is nice and pink.
Dropping the pan leaves old fluid in the trans (torque converter, cooler and lines). Yes, the filter is not changed but...
Older thread but I'll be ordering the 3.0l in the Yukon. I tow my enclosed car trailer with my Sierra easily. I expect the same with the Yukon. Diesel is less than premium (6.2l) around metro Detroit.
I'm not familiar with GM but Ford parts counters can cut a key with proof of ownership. You might contact your local dealer.
Edit -
Sorry, I missed the part that you are out of the country. Would local police department be of any help?
I look at car and truck maintenance as cheap labor compared to my boat. BOAT Bust Out Another Thousand. My marina hourly rate is $259/hr. The hot rod shop I use is $95/hr.
At 75, I have no desire to crawl under my vehicles anymore. I can just bump into something and I'm bleeding. I'm lucky...
I wasn't a fan of the 24's at first until I saw the Escalades with them. I walk by one every morning while out with my dog and I've gotten used to seeing them. I'm not thrilled with the standard 24 offered on the 2026 Yukon Ultimate. Hoping there will be a change. If not, I'll probably do an...
Can't say "no one". There are 3 Escalades in my sub with 24's and the look really good. I will be #4 with 24's, that I'm aware of, on the Ultimate I'm fixing to order.
I order all the time. The chances of my dealer locating one how I spec it is slim. I'll be ordering a 2027 Yukon as soon as the sales manager can start placing orders. I'm not in a bind and have the patience to wait. I don't want to compromise.
I sure don't "miss" manual e-brakes/ parking brakes that would not release once the cables corroded.
I have a 2025 GMC 1500 Sierra Denali Ultimate and had a 2023. Both have the passenger seat belt rattle when the wife gets out without straightening the buckle. She mostly remembers to...
I'm pretty sure if I held onto my vehicle and had a repair 30 days beyond my original warranty expiration and I was under 36,000 miles GM and the dealership would get it covered under goodwill. Realistically, the chances of needing warranty coverage in that time period are slim.
Now, if I was...
