    Never heard of the Lares box. I just put in a "Plews & Edelmann"box. Completely new including the housing. Guaranteed for life. Includes a pressure dyno sheet. I LOVE THE BOX…. ( just a little faster turn ) They are not the cheapest….. But it’s worth it.

    Yup…... Also, the panels are perfectly flat… no rivets, vents, or what looks like support braces. All airbrushed. ( It was fun being taught the tricks )

    Masking tape for a paint edge…... LIGHTLY lay the tape down…. ( for all surfaces including the edge ) The edge you are protecting…. Just use the top of your finger…. your flat fingernail, against ONLY the tiny leading edge of the tape. The rest of the tape is barely pressed against the surface...

    Back in the ’80’s, GM was slow to finish paint the white, …when the primer had already cured. Hence all the white paint peeling.

    2 years ago I put black tape on my radiator supports…. I used Gaffer’s tape….. a ‘stage hand’ non-reflective black tape…. it still is holding up.
