As we enter the winter season Im looking to add some winter wheels/tires to my Tahoe. Looking for information from others who have already done the research and purchased?
I was considering 25/26 Tahoe PPV steel wheels (20") with Bridgestone Blizzaks DM V2.
Anyone purchase 22" wheels and tires...
I was considering the 20" PPV steel wheels for my winter set on my 25 High Country. Just looking for feedback from previous owners with stock 22" wheels on how the vehicle handled or operated after dropping to the 20" steel wheels?
Any codes thrown or handling issues?
Truer words have not been spoken, LT to HC is from one end of the spectrum to the other.
In my area there are no high trim models on the lot ever, pretty much all presold.
Demand is still there.
I tried to go early to get my first free oil change but dealer stated that GM wont do it free unless your 30% or less on the OLMS.
The first oil change of any new vehicle should always be early but they wouldn't budge so as soon as it got to 31% I booked appointment
Your not wrong, the motor is part of the selling feature but I kind of include the exhaust note in the motor package. I disagree the Escalade V was designed to be quiet but perhaps the 23 your referring too has been modified to make it louder then it was when it left the Arlington Assembly...
WTF?
People are trying to defeat one of key selling features of the vehicle?
I would suggest these people need to trade in a Toyota Prius or Lesbaru Outback.
Did they also purchase a high current Amplifier for their home stereo and then complain its too loud?
You do realize that exhaust note on start up is probably one of the big selling features of that truck. If thats too loud I would suggest thats not the truck for you. The Engineers spent a ton of engineering time to get that sound. Watch any review on the Escalade V and the exhaust note on start...
Thanks for this thread, my 07 Escalade is showing the exact same behavior I thought it was because I put aftermarket 22" wheels and tires instead of keeping the stock 18" wheels and tires. I will start checking from the ground up.
So I am presuming you own a 2026 Yukon and thats why your seeing this feature but its still not pushed out to the 25MY Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade vehicles?
Can you access the recordings or live view cameras from you MyGMC App on a Smartphone?
The interior camera is not expensive its on the GM Parts...
The Ford Expedition is apparently being refreshed for 2028 so that means a 2028 MY with information and photos released summer of 2027. I would hazard a guess GM does the same around that time
Yes but the V6 EcoBoost Expedition probably had 4 recalls before delivery and has accumulated another 2 since ownership. I have driven both and IMHO the build quality in the GM trucks is far superior. Just something as simple as closing the door tells you a lot about a vehicle. The fact that...
After downloading GM 651.20 I looked at my RSE screens and the home screen didn't change at all. Can anyone with RSE who confirmed they have downloaded GM 651.20 advise if they noticed anything new on RSE?
After the dealership told me they loaded GM 651.20 in my Tahoe I was surprised today to get an alert saying there is a software update pending GM 651.20
So I emailed the dealership and asked the Service Adviser if he and the Shop Foreman could contact GM and sign up for a course on how to do...
I learned something new today from OnStar Tech Support Level 2.
If the Dealer Tech does the installation of an update through the OBD2 Tech Tool then it DOES NOT show up in the multimedia menu screen under UPDATES & HISTORY.
My vehicle doesn't show any history of updates other then telling me its running Android 12 version.
Im trying to determine if my truck has downloaded GM 651.20 but it keeps saying no Updates Available
Other then going to the dealership is there a place to enter your VIN and see your Updates...
I was finally able to get the GM part numbers for the factory Performance Upgrade Package CAI and Cat Back Exhaust.
Part numbers so you could at least purchase through your local GM dealer.
87845963 – Air Filter Kit
84888291 – Exhaust Kit
That's exactly what they did for the Escalade.
My friends 24 Escalade has the SD card slot in the drivers side rear access panel beside the fuse block. I checked my 25 Tahoe HC and the SD card slot "HOLDER" is there but no SD card slot.
Ah...ok I thought you meant you had found a non OEM interior camera and were going to install it and access it remotely. I got excited that you may have found a work around to skip the subscription part while getting access to interior/exterior video. I will calm down now and bow to the Onstar...
If you installed your own in the overhead console how would you access the GM cameras? They are a proprietary video format with encryption are they not?
