I forget the exact date but you had a raffle and I won a "Traditional Tune" from you for my 2005 Tahoe Z71 stock 5.3. Just yesterday I did a new alternator and while I had it apart, I chose to pull the throttle body and do the bore cleaning on both sides. For removal, had to disconnect the 2...

My customer bought one of these so I could do the work. I told her I was not gonna buy it for just one use. So, she bought it and gifted to me.
From the pics I see, it looks like your disconnect disables the positive and the negative at same time. I get it, I do. I initially thought you were saying a disconnect, only on the positive cable.
With this disconnect set up, what did you use to install the cable lugs, to crimp them on to the...
So, I decided to take some steps and see what is the best plan of action for the cables set up.
1. Should I run the positive cable from the second battery, with a disconnect close to the second battery, and attach at the battery cable red block at the threaded stud in the pic or run under the...
Yea, if you look at the very first pic and the next to last pic, you will see the tension notches on the tensioner and see that they are the same with the old and new alternator.
Just measured at the outer diameter of the belt grooves and it is 57mm and the spots on the tensioner are also matched for before and after. The front of the two pulleys look a little different.
So, recently I had my battery go dead with no warning at all. It was exactly 5 years old Interstate 78 series AGM battery and I replaced, via a service call from a guy named Kanyon and big enough to earn it, it is an Interstate 5 year non AGM battery. The alternator that is on the Tahoe is also...
Sorry for any duplicate pics. There are/is more items like jack stands.....etc., with no additional pics. The price is now $35K Or Best Offer and there is a Finder's Fee.
I replaced both of the female power ports today. Found out about the special tool needed to reach inside the power socket and engage the 2 square spots that are 180 degrees across from each other. Theoretically, the socket is then supposed to pull free of the 2 black plastic socket holders and...
Well, the draw problem and dead battery problem has struck again. My girl, Linda, was leaving for her senior citizens gym workout and came in and said the TB would not start again. We jumped asap and I put on charger in front of garage and took her to her workout. One I got a reasonable charge...
My girl's 2002 TrailBlazer draw problem:
I was at my fav taco place for Taco Thursday. My girl, Linda" calls and said the TB will not start/turnover. Said she could not even turn the key off and remove the key and all of the dash was dead. Dealing with a 2002 TB LS, 4.2, bone stock as they...
Ok, so I did slip a new 78 series battery, in to the second battery tray yesterday and it was a little tight to snake in there but when I held my tongue just right, it slipped right it. The hold down fit perfectly. It felt very solid as well. Now I just need those pics from @Joseph Garcia and I...
Yep, he did it. The manufacturers were trying to block out mechanics, technicians, shade tree mechanics and non dealer techs....from working on our own vehicles or friends vehicles or independent shops from repairing/maintaining vehicles. I wasn't gonna stop, ANYWAY, unless my medical problems...
