[SOLVED] 2015 Yukon Denali power liftgate will not CLOSE automatically.

That "seal" is basically a balloon, you probably could have put some type of sealer on the damaged part (maybe) i know on mine if you press on it, it activates the lock by air pressure. I found it by accident some time back when I was leaning in to lift some things out of the back and had put my...

    Electronic box under drivers seat.

that is the radio amplifier. It being under the seat is unusual must have been a gmt400 thing at one point. in 2000 it was moved to behind the glove box and then later moved the under the center console then more recently it is now in the rear drivers quarter panel

    Vehicle Dies During Driving

The only reason it might stall from the evap system is if the purge solenoid was stuck open and it was sucking fumes at idle (run rich). a stuck vent solenoid would cause refueling problems if you did not use oem parts it could be the problem still. aftermarket tend to fail miserably

    Vehicle Dies During Driving

I would start with a fuel pressure gauge stuck up in the hood/wiper area so you can see it while driving and monitor the pressure it should stay at or above 43psi at all times with engine running. key-on/engine off you should have 50+psi. since there are no other driveability issues reported...

    Tech 2 for my hybrid

I would assume so for gm module programming, not just in general. If it is connecting to gm then someone has to pay for it, gm charges $45 for 2 years Per vin, shops can get better pricing for bulk of course and as far as I know "some" autel scanners can do programming but require a completely...

2015 Yukon Denali Z95 - Rock Auto cart

it's a couple bolts and a couple connectors, by far the easiest part the system to replace. if the pump is not working there is no point in replacing the rear shocks because they won't work anyway.

yes there is the warranty factor of course, I am just poor so i live within my means, which would mean even if I bought a new one I would be owning it far beyond the warranty life but even a warranty can't pay me back the 50,000 dollar 5 year loss, to me that's insane. enjoy your ride! looks sweet.

    HVAC reset

you need atleast a mid-range bidirectional capable scanner that can command the body modules and provide the real time status of the system the gm system is GDS2 but many scanners such as a autel will work with it, your looking probably in the $350+ range for a scanner, depending on how savvy of...

how much are you paying this "shop" ? because other then the strut compression part which requires a rental tool (also free when you return the rental) you can install these yourself at 0 cost with basic tools. to add to that list, how is the compressor working?

I don't think too many people come here to comparison shop, especially against a Honda. that's comparing apples to banana's you have to realize that tahoe, yukon, yukon denali, escalade are the same thing AND suburban, yukon xl/denali xl, escalade esv are also the exact same thing just a longer...

that's because many of us are long time gm owners and know what the heck we are talking about, the answers you seek are here, the enthusiasm for the nannies and internal engine problems is not. the reason European vehicles are smaller is because the family core is smaller, a majority of them are single and averages out to about 1.7 per. 2012 tahoe no start

what happened to the one in the drivers footwell? did you remove it? upfitters were known to put a hidden switch under the floor cover so that people couldn't start it. the button had to be depressed with your foot. or shift it to drive (one or the other) which is another thing to check, if the...

    Cooling fan circuit on 6.2L

yes the 500w motors and 700w motors are different, more windings in the 700w, they also mount different and use different blades depending on the shroud and model. I have the 700w hummer fans in mine because too many sellers online say there fans are k5l which is simply not possible
  17. Doubeleive

    I installed E-fans on my 2001

anything that takes the load off the factory wiring will work, a couple heavy duty relays wires directly to the battery, grounded on the frame and to the fans, the factory harness would then just be the trigger. I have done this multiple times with HID lighting because they cause the same...

    Cooling fan circuit on 6.2L

there's no difference in the 500w vs 700w setup on the gmt900's, same wiring, same relays. the differences are external (fan motor, shroud design, fan blades), however the shroud mounting dimensions and harness are identical. I would recommend more robust wiring (power & ground) and higher...

    Gas filter

I think you missed the point. that being..... IF you had such a desire to add a external filter, you could using similar fittings in place of a e85 sensor, without having to cut the fuel line or anything. you would just need to be creative.... meaning a fuel line quick connect adapted to a fuel...

Yep, but..... depending on the year the there is still a port on the fuel line that can be used to retrofit.a E85 adapter, GM was getting credits for it up until about 2016 some were produced with the option for e85 and some were not. The plug-n-play kit is about $300 then it just needs to be...
