the youtube videos of dyno runs without tuning showed +10whp & more torque.
The manifold is about $160 & throttle body $70, orings $20 for intake & throttle body.
so for less than $300 increase in power. but they did not report on daily mileage gains.
spent way more than $300 when I had my 65...
So I recently upgraded the front brake calipers to the 4-pots from +2019 Silverado.
I currently have 22" snowflakes and due to the back spacing & offset, i have to use 2 1/4" spacers..or 1/2"
total to clear the brake calipers.
so which 20's or 22's will clear the 4-pot front brake calipers?
2016 Tahoe LTZ 5.3 6L80 bought used with 132K in Nov 23 and now 200K
replaced so far..
the torque convertor (had tcm flashed for lock up in 5 & 6)
transmission filter & fluid service
transmission thermostat bypass
the magna-ride front struts
plugs, wires
alternator
front brake calipers to 4...
my 2016 Tahoe.
I did not use the dust shields from 2019 Silverado. the factory ones were just smaller than rotor diameter.
stainless steel braided lines as well...noticeable brake performance.
I also got drilled & slotted rotors for all four corners.

similar thing happened to coworkers 16 silverado..my basic code reader detected P0172. truck smelled of fuel at idle.
no mis-fire codes..
had a shop use their scanner and found one of the injectors malfunctioning, almost stuck open.
suggest you get the code scanned before you part throwing...
good that you did have your transmission serviced. they did not use AC Delco for tranny fluid? but mobil 1?
the color of the fluid..says its definitely time for fluid service...too dark for my taste..
the magnets, normal accumulation?..hhmmm..
the part that I don't like with 6l80 is dropping...
The CAI is taking more air than stock air box.
the MAF table needs to revised / tweaked for your set up.
the exhaust..cat back?..not so much impact to way the engine breathes compared to the CAI.
what Nick said...
but i also had shudder issues and replaced my torque convertor and the transmission shifts smoothly
as intended..also had it remapped for lock-up in 5 & 6 th gears..
well...
I had the battery loose charge and have had to recharge it @ 2 amps to ensure
that it was fdully charged..it took almost 2 days.
I recent replaced my alternator..it was reading too low for my liking.
Tested both battery & alternator with my Innova 5610 and it reports the voltages
are...
ordered mine from summit racing, goodrich stainless steel braid lines.
2 for the front, 2 for the rears & it came with 2 for the ones right above the rear end.
the fluid change, for your transmission?
there is less than $25 part for the transmission thermostat...actually replaces the factory spring
and allows the transmission fluid to circulate the whole time without having to "warm up"...
so I finally installed the 4-pots.
I needed 1/2" wheel spacers to get the wheel (22" snowflakes) to clear the calipers.
I used 2 washers for 1/8" to center the caliper.
hunting for other factory wheels that will clear the calipers..20s or 22s..

Replacing a cylinder head on a 2017 Chevy Tahoe typically costs $1,500 to $3,000+, with parts (head, gaskets, bolts, coolant) around $700-$1,000+ and labor (6-12+ hours at $100-$180/hr) making up the bulk, plus potential machine shop fees for resurfacing, but it can...
