    Hum...Head gasket?

You might want to look in to heavy duty poly engine mounts. A truck Norris cam and speed engineering headers on my truck would stretch the brand new mount on the driver's side out. On hard acceleration the header would pound on the heat shield.

The New V8 Engines are coming!

They are light duty because all they move are a couple of people at a time while traveling on hard surface roads. Where I come from pick up trucks work for a living, often in brutal conditions. We don't need more gadgets. EV's are not going to save the world. They are still dirty...

The New V8 Engines are coming!

They return to a terminal at the end of every shift and only job is to move people around. Light duty.

The New V8 Engines are coming!

Seems to be a lot of confusion here about the true purpose of trucks and the requirements to meet those needs.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Thanks.. unfortunately I had to raise the battery even higher when I installed the new front bumper. The front skid plate wouldn't clear. I now have to remove the electric fan shroud and pull the battery out the top to change it out. The battery couldn't make the ark down anymore.

I have slept in my rig at -30. Considering the vehicle has zero insulation it did good. 10 degrees and above it will cook you out. It will run for 4 days on 2 1/2 gallons of fuel.

I think I'm going to put my lithium batteries in that space, 400 amp hours. Build an insulated box, the batteries are self heating.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

It's not a cover. It's a 14 gallon fresh water tank that fits in the spare tire hole. It uses the factory tire winch to hold it in place. The pump is to pressurize the hot water heater for the shower.

    center consol ?

I would be very suprised if it's not a straight swap. There is very little chance that GM made two different styles of bucket seats. The factory subwoofer bolts in under the center console, find one of those in the junk yard. I hid both my C.B and GMSR under there as well. The dash swap isn't...

My lift setup on 33s - and rancho 9k review

The ride height in the rear varies so much depending on how much gear is crammed in it. When stripping down and dirty for trail work I definitely have rake, but I'll gladly accept that to minimize dragging the giant rear overhang around. The chassis unlimited rear bumper is ridiculously...

My lift setup on 33s - and rancho 9k review

Currently I have them set up with a 3" rough country spacer on top of the spring and a 2" spacer under the spring. It gives me a good ride height when loaded real heavy. Ignore the bungee holding the sway bar up, it's a work in progress.. I currently have rough country 3" longer shocks with...

The 2+ inch lift on these and the price look better. More in line with what I recall paying. Larger diameter wire as well. Wish I could have been more help.

My lift setup on 33s - and rancho 9k review

I looked through my old pics but didn't catch a good shot of the box they came in. Bummer. I installed them 3 years ago so recollection is foggy. I think they were Dobson. Can't find any record of who or where I purchased them from, sorry.. I do clearly recall that the manufacturer was based...

07 xl, G80, climbing log ledges, the rears were really hooked up on a log but one front tire couldn't climb up because of no locker in the front. I tried to force the issue. I knew I was going to change out the whole drive train with better parts and was curious what the current weak link...
