    Child windows over ride?

Understood. I was referring to how far the windows go down, but I guess that wasn't evident. I will edit to clarify.

    Spohn arms suck.

Well, you've left out one type of racing that is one of the least expensive and safest ways to participate: autocross. Aside from having an appropriate vehicle that's properly maintained, you only need a helmet, which most organizations have on hand as rentals. Past that, high-performance (or...

    Child windows over ride?

The "child window" safety claim about how far the windows go down started in the '70s, but there's no validity for it being a legal requirement. It's simply due to the door shape & mechanism design. If it were true, my US-spec '80s BMW's rear windows wouldn't have legally been allowed to go...

Data Sticker On Door Almost Completely Illegible -- Seeking Pic of Yours of Same Specs

Y'all, The data sticker on the door of my 2013 Tahoe LTZ is almost completely illegible. Could anyone provide me with a pic of theirs from a GMT900 with the same specs? Thanks in advance! Relevant info: 2013 Tahoe LTZ RWD [edited to add] 5.3/6L80 3.08 275/55-20 standard towing parts out back...

CORNERING LIGHTS? - HAS ANYONE PUT CORNERING LIGHTS ON A TAHOE?

For the circuitry, you don't need a different stalk or any different control electronics, you just need one "delay off" relay per side. Set the delay to longer than the interval between flashes. As for the lights themselves, there are a number of flush assemblies that can be installed into the...

Rear Seat Belt Receiver Not Latching. No Obvious Debris or Damage Present.

Y'all, Yesterday when giving some friends a ride, we discovered the right rear seat belt receiver doesn't latch at all (even partially). I have to admit I didn't try it when checking out the Tahoe when buying it back in December. There's no obvious debris or damage. Can these be disassembled...

Water dripping when I remove the passenger floor panel screw?

Bumping this because I encountered the same thing while doing the cabin filter retrofit. It seems as if the screw plugs it sufficiently, but I wonder if adding some non-hardening sealer is in order.

    Factory crossbar upgrade?

I know this won't help immediately, but I am not happy with the stock setup and have obtained Yakima rails in order to install my Yakima uprights and straight round steel crossbars. I'll be doing a writeup when I get it done, but it won't be in the next month at least.

Experiences with Wheelskins Steering Wheel Covers for Your Tahoe (or Other Vehicle)?

Y'all, Searching on "Wheelskins" brings up a few threads where the company's products are mentioned, but no threads where anyone has actually installed one. So, does anyone here have any experiences to share with installing one on their Tahoe (or another vehicle)? EDIT: Derp, thought I was...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

All of my four vehicles' keys are on separate rings. The Tahoe only has the key, fob, and a safe key. Besides the scratching a gaggle of keys can do, they can damage the ignition lock tumbler and/or switch. You might recall both Ford and GM had to do recalls because too many folks had key...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

One of the most annoying noises for me has always been a vehicle's keys rattling on the dash or steering column. I took care of that in my '57 Chevy by gluing a square of felt below the ignition switch (it's still there, and surprisingly not faded), and today I eliminated the sound of the fob...

Can I drop my differential safely with the cv axles disconnected or will my vehicle front end fall

The CV axles aren't part of the suspension and removing them won't affect the suspension.
