Nope the real trailer. I dunno what to say then, the ones I've used had 4 pin and surge brakes and it even notes it on their website. You can see the surge brake unit in the pictures of their trailers.
The tow dolly doesn't have brakes.
We keep out daily drivers till they rot out or aren't worth fixing.. which usually means an expensive repair needed when they're rotted out. That's usually around the 12 year mark. We usually buy them a year or two old but some new so we do keep them 10+ years. Full size SUVs and trucks...
You only get the different axle and probably cooling too with towing package or Z71. According to uhaul the trailer is 2,210lbs so you're probably right near your towing capacity with a Challenger on it.
Their website shows they will allow a Tahoe to tow a Challenger. I don't know if stores go by something else so might be best to call ahead and ask.
Uhaul trailers have 4 pin connector and surge brakes.
If it has tow package it's rated high enough for that, without it you might be close. Make sure the factory hitch has a high enough capacity, they used to skimp on that.
Other then any uniqueness from the oddball trim options Chevy has the same leather as Yukon in the same rows. I didn't know that about onstar. Was that the wifi part? Thats what I saw for 3 months. The rest was several years.
I don't know when they changed but the laminated glass and real wood...
Looks like they've changed it then and you're right not well documented.
The brochures used to be the best way of seeing what's what but they've started to get too basic with them too.
The glass is the same type in both.
Those options are available with Tahoe depending on how its comfigured. If it's something they want and it's not available in the way they've specified a Tahoe but it is with Yukon or vice versa it's all the more reason to choose one over the other.
Glass and trim quality are identical between GMC and Chevy. Other then Denali.
Magnetic ride, ventilated seats, heads up display, power folding mirrors and running boards comes down to what options package someone selects.
The only difference between them is appearance and how the options are grouped. They've over complicated them with the amount of packages. And there might be some option that one has that's not available in the other. That used to only happen with Denali with nicer leather and trim and bigger...
Keep in mind that PPV's didn't come with some things like rear climate controls in the console so it wont have that wiring. You'd figure it would have at least had the 12V plug so there should be a harness of some sort harness for it either in the dash or under the floor covering in the console...
You can actually twist the black handle part out of the chrome piece but I don't think they sell just that separately. That bare metal ring that's left is what's threaded. The black handle itself has a screw at the end also that holds it to that piece.
It could be from the tire wear and unless you know the wear happened there they could have rotated that wheel from the front.
Get the alignment checked and new tires. Make sure it's a shop that will check if it needs any front end work at the same time causing it.
It sounds like that was a separate problem when you already said moving the injector made the misfire move but congrats on the repair.
You never said what how much costed you a lot was buying it.
Did you check Curt or other manufacturers?
Strange it's high. The one on my Ram is higher then the tahoe and it's not an issue with normal hitch balls.
That switch you can see with the door open is for the child proof door locks.
The difference here is PPV's are the police version, they come with a more permanent way of the rear interior door releases and window controls being disabled then what's available with the normal models.
I don't remember seeing a light on my 2017 other then the one on the knob. Which I'm OK with because the older ones that's the only indication you had so that's what I'm used to looking for.
It does tell you when it's transferring to 4x4 and presumably if there's a problem.
Every generation of these suv's I've ever had had damage there its never been a problem on any other vehicle and none of us are big. It's a quality issue with the vinyl they use as much as anything else.
