That sounds like typical power steering pump, alternator, tensioner type noise. Can't tell from video you should be able to pinpoint it under the hood.
Our 99 isn't very high on the oil pressure guage when it's warm but is high cold and moves around at different rpm. If there's no ticking lack...
Mine was cut off and it probably looked better that way then those stupid ears hanging down on either end of it.
I don't pull up over curbs in parking lots so that's a non issue but it can drag in deep snow and other conditions.
I've never had tubes installed in a vehicle with tpms do that was a very good point.
I guess the real issue is the shop didn't spend enough time actually cleaning the bead area or it was around the valve. And hopefully not a crack!!
I mentioned tubes the other day. There are tubes specifically for radial tires and there's usually no problems using them but I don't know about tires that big.
How far are these trips? If you're on top of maintenance there shouldn't be problems. Another plus is those older ones shops are used to them and you can usually limp them along. Newer ones might be less likely to break down but you could have something as simple as a module fail and leave you...
The one big thing that keeps us in the big GM suv's is that they're far more common around here and the Expeditions are virtually non existent as they get older. But Navigators seem to be around.
You can usually use a wire wheel in a drill to clean up really bad rims. There are also tubes for radial tires I had to use them on one of my cars but I don't know if there are issues with them in wheels that big.
If the tires are old Sometimes that can also affect the bead sealing.
Check car-part.com for the glass.
I'm torn on it. The tail gate on those comes in handy at times to do stuff on and the glass open helps keep rain off when you're standing there but the extra reach to get in there to grab stuff is a pain in the butt... more pain in the legs actually...
Look for the PPV wiring info. The regulsr tahoe will have dufferent wires that dont exist on them. You should be able to find the 12V source for those outlets yourself it's not that hard.
120V inverter or components probably won't be there if it wasn't available on PPV.
I've had it happen before too. From other posts it's not the screen it's the touch part going bad thinking that someone is touching it doing those things when they aren't.
Keep in mind you could also be buying some else's problems or have to spend money fixing stuff on the new one also. If the transmission is the only major problem you could very well be better off fixing it or getting a used one put in.
The ones in ours were stuck down when we got it used. Don't know how they worked up till then but the hinges were seizing and replacing the one with the motor on each side fixed them. If a good cleaning doesn't get them moving that's probably what's wrong. You could hear them trying to move when...
Yup. They should make it clear up front somewhere how much extra the cost will be but with the constant change of how they're applied and what percentage it probably won't get noted on the window sticker unless it becomes consistent for a while.
Check the usage in the manual. I dont know about that generation but sometimes certain ones are switched with ignition vs on all the time or can be set either way and of course at that age there's always the chance a previous owner changed the wiring also to do what they wanted.
Start by checking if the brake light pin works at the connector. If your 4 pin was added and you're not using an adapter to go from 7 to 4 start there.
I'm not sure on the 2014s but in some generations the whole front suspension was different between RWD and 4WD. You're better off buying whichever one you want to start with.
