Ok, this is the second relay this week to go. Any idea what's causing this?
Also hearing a weird noise from the dash board when you turn the key to start, sounds like the fuel pump for a split second followed by 2 clicks, don't know if it's related or not.
One more gremlin, last night my...
With anything under 100,000 miles, I would take the best maintained one hands down. My last 3 GM trucks have over a million miles on them combined, maintenance counts!
I don't know the answer to that, but with the 3.73 gears, I would think it would have the towing package. I always assumed the towing package at least included taller gears a trans cooler and wiring/hitch. I do think the "packages" vary by year, the newer hoes have brake controllers included...
You need the RPO code that's in the glove box, it should start with GU...(for the rear end), if it doesn't have a transmission cooler, it doesn't have a tow package. Even if it had a 3.08, that boat would be no problem, but I would still do a cooler.
According to an online towing guide a non hybrid 4wd is rated at 8200lbs. Are you sure on the axle? I would definitely do a trans cooler.
Check that, that's with the trailing package. There's no way around changing the rear end unless you want to risk going over the suggested weights.
Replaced the fuel pump relay after a no start situation, the cheaper solution actually worked for once.
And I had just filled my tank up, suck on that Murphy.
+1 on the wd-40, on my "new" Yukon the rear door cylinder was frozen, I suppose they never used a key on it. I just took the panel off and manually worked the lock after spraying it down, works great now.
