No, I haven't and don't think I will take it on. GM has agreed to replace mine for $200 and I'm going that route. Those pictures are some I found on the internet. -

Front Dash Crack
GM definitely knows about the problems and has redesigned the dashes. If you get yours replaced, insist on the redesigned reinforced ones or you'll be in the same boat later.
