The ground isnt exposed to elements but if he has one of the leaky sunroofs, the water can go right down to that ground connection- Tmlaws

I havent read all of the comments but have you checked the connectors to your bcm to make sure none are loose, no wires are messed up or chafed down there or habe you checked the ground behind the panel on the drivers side kick panel near the door frame? I think its G203? I had the limp mode...- Tmlaws
