    Do a compression Check on the cylinder. Move the plugs and wires to another cylinder to rule them out.

    After doing a running compression test and checking the preload on the lifters I swapped injectors around. Turns out they were clogged. Problem solved. Hopefully this can help someone else.

    I did the case relearn and I have the same issues. I got a bidirectional scanner that reads more codes. I have the P0300, U0401:71 Invalid data from Engine/Powertrain Control Module I will also get U0401:00 I don’t know what is going on with this vehicle

    Any chance the pcm went bad? Today I checked the injectors with power and they clicked and I re torqued the rockers in the correct sequence. After all that I got a new code in addition to the p0300… p16a1 throttle body position sensor.

    Oh yeah took them off scratched them up applied dielectric grease and put them back on. I went thru all the electrical connections I could see and the ones I couldn’t I used my phone to try and see them.

    Re-used the old one. I put the valley block off plugs in there. When I plug in the Diablo sport tune it says it can’t read my tcm but it will go thru the steps to upload the tune. Has anyone else had that issue before?

    Hey so Diablo Lew recommended doing the case relearn as well my question is do you think it would be throwing a specific code for the cam sensor and not just the generic “random misfire” p0300. The timing chain tensioner was broken. The car had to limp home for maybe 10-15 miles when the lifter...

    Ticking in V4 only

    Hey I have a strange issue with my 2016 Tahoe. It’s bone stock one owner before me. All the service records off carfax show that the car was dealer maintained. It’s got 67,000 miles on it and it started making a strange ticking noise when it’s in V4 mode. It doesn’t make the noise on start up...
