You can contact GM customer service and see if they will authorize a buyback. Also check the Lemon Law in your state, you could also look for a Lemon Law attorney in your area. They normally do not charge upfront and get paid as part of the Lemon Law. Good luck with your decision.
Correct replacement should be based on your VIN number. You could try Rockauto or one of the online GM Dealers that ask for your VIN number to verify correct part.
The homelink you can use the garage remote to program the button in your truck, may be something to consider switching over like they did in the other thread.

You will be more confused after everyone posts what oil they prefer. We have these posts come up every now and then and oil preference is all over the board.
Have you checked your owners manual and if you don’t have one you can look at the one online which is easier to use. If I recall on my 2017 you could not turn it off and use the traditional one but on the newer models you can.
