True, but not everyone is coming on here to complain, or even know what forums are. Where there's smoke, there's fire. Either way this failure/flaw should be less than 1%...especially when looking at sigma levels of manufacturing defects that automakers the size of GM should be adhering to.
Everyone kept saying it wasn't going to be a problem on later '21s, then it wasn't going to be a problem on '22s, now '23s are failing...all blaming parts suppliers...I think its safe to say at this point it is a systemic design issue (likely related to cylinder deactivation)...can't wait for a...
I ordered a '22 Denali diesel w/ bench and sunroof in Feb., got picked up in March, built in April, sat until delivery last week of October. We also ordered a '23 when we found out the '22 was going to sit, but it never got picked up. It is still on order with the dealer and they are going to...
Echoing what Matz said. We put 20K miles on our '21 SLT Duramax before trading in, and about 2K miles on our Denali Duramax now. Also in Michigan, and never any issues with it. Our kids school is 4 minutes down the road, wife's office is a 10 minute drive. I use it for towing (about 6-7 longer...
The diesel makes the same torque but its peak is right off idle. When it comes to towing, everything is superior if you're only looking at 6.2L vs. 3.0L. The low end torque, fuel economy, and reliability (so far) really shine with the duramax.
The dealer will need an allocation for all those options along with the trim level, then they can use the allocation to place your order with GM. They may not have an allocation for Denali, or they may not have an allocation for duramax. Everything has to line up perfectly and not be on...
Could have the faulty headlight sensor issue that causes headlights to come on during the day, not sure if they are reversed and don't come on at night...meaning you're only seeing the lights the DRL's are providing. Worth investigating if you can see the reflections of the headlights vs. DRL's...
There is no notification. You can get a cheap wireless OBD dongle and an app on your phone to monitor DPF and regen status, but being that its a brand new truck, it will take a while for the DPF to fill up enough for its first regen.
two weeks ago we traded in our '21 duramax SLT (MSRP $67K) for $66K with 20,300 miles on it, and we got to keep the $3K OEM gloss black wheels and swapped them onto our new Denali (that we got GM discount on). Market is still strong.
It took all of 5 minutes. I don't like the placement of blendmount (or suction cups wearing out), so I have been using 3M dual lock with a V1 "permanent" mount on my last 4 vehicles and placing it closer to the headliner for a slightly stealthier look...
Go diesel. The V8's are ticking time bombs that GM still can't get right up to the '22 model year. My wife had a '21 SLT diesel while we waited for our Denali and she absolutely loves the powertrain for this size vehicle. Mostly short trips to drop off the kid (5 minutes) or the office (10...
