    I went to pick up the Yukon last week with the new engine. They scrached up the folded side mirror real bad so I walked out, the dealership replaced it and I am picking it up tomorrow. We have been driving a 32k Terrain loaner for a month now. The dealer says GM wont extend the warranty...

    So you're saying, the two factory filters have less restriction because the GM knows the engine needs less restriction vs actually filtering out particulate?

    I did an oil change with factory oil myself at 1000 miles. Used a purilator- supposedly the best right? We did the break in. It blew on Saturday when I floored it at 4000 miles on the odometer.

    I was just at the dealership and got the rental car. The engine is condemned. It might be a month before they get a new 6.2 and they got another car in there waiting as well.

    They have it on a lift right now. They say it is an electrical issue.
