    Security light pops on intermittently

My 2002 GMC Yukon Denali did that for a couple of years. I finally got sick of it and replaced the passlock control in the steering column. It requires some tooling, I made some of the tools and it requires a steering wheel puller. Then it must be programmed into the ecm. This can be done...

    Fluctuation Voltage

Check the connections at the PCM and the BCM. My 2002 GMC Yukon Denali had the dancing voltmeter syndrome for quite a while. The other day I removed and reinstalled the PCM and BCM harness connectors and fixed the problem. Roy

Heads Up - Crazy erratic voltmeter

Just a heads up. My voltmeter started jumping up and down 12 to 15 volts for no reason. I tested the battery, alternator and checked all cables for resistance and loose connections. Then I noticed when the A/C was off the voltmeter was steady. I ordered a new AC Delco blower motor from Rock...

    Oil gone?

My 02 Yukon has a PCV with just an orifice. GM has a TSB out for h2O freezing in the PCV and blocking ventilation in freezing climates. Maybe yours has that type of PCV. If so there is no rattle in it.

Good On-Off Road Tires - Minimal Off Road

I just had 4 Nitto crostech tires installed on my 2002 Yukon Denali. Aggressive tread pattern but very quiet. Very well made and designed tire.

    Lean

Check the body mounts. Sometimes they fail and cause a left/right lean. Just a thought.

    Service Ride Control

According to the ebsco repair section (library auto repair reference online) the suspension control module is behind the Right rear quarter trim panel just like my 2002 denali. Got to remove the whole trim panel. The wiring from that module also goes to the bcm under the drivers kick panel under...

    Auto Ride System

I just installed the Monroe kit and a Dorman compressor on my 2002 Yukon Denali. Easy install and works great. To clear the service ride control I disconnected the battery. Waited 5 minutes to clear memory and removed the RTD fuse (30 amp) in the under-hood fuse/relay box. Then connected the...
