    I don't know. People say the 4 speed breaks a lot, but I don't have experience with them. I am sure that if you get one that has been taken care of you'll be fine. Even with the 4 spd.

    Get a hard case luggage carrier. They lock and they are water proof. Brand wise there are many. I purchased a Sears last summer before our trip to Myrtle Beach and it was worth every penny. Just be sure what ever you use doesn't interfere with the rear hatch when open.

    Good to know. I have never removed mine, the dealer did while we were looking at it and he had a time getting it back on. So that is right where I've left it. I have thought about putting some kind of attachment on it. You know, to prevent it from walking off!

    I have heard of some problems with the exterior plastics used on the Z71 package. I would definitely purchase an 2009 or 2010 over anything else. the extra content alone makes them worth every penny. No problems to report here.
