    Loving my E85 right now

Yes I had a lifter collapse at about 277k miles. I reprogrammed mine from about the time it was new to run as a V4 for longer.

    Loving my E85 right now

You will get much better fuel economy if you advance the timing. I reprogrammed my 2010 and have gotten 14.5-15mph on E85 trips on the highway. Also with the increased timing you will make more power thus allowing the 4 cylinder mode to be active longer.

I know how to do it manually but I am not putting gas in it very often since barely driving it.

Had another lifter collapse at 281K, Now running it as a 6 cylinder

I am waiting for my slow ass house to be finished to change out the cam. I had one lifter fail at 278k so I swapped out the failed lifter but was left with a tick since the cam must be damaged. I drove it a little as a 7cyl then just put the rocker arms back on and said screw it drive until...

Lifter tick help will mmo or motor flush help?

I have not replaced the cam yet. I am waiting for my home to be finished that will have a much larger garage. I will just put it back factory. If it lasted 278K miles before I am not worried about the AFM.

Lifter tick help will mmo or motor flush help?

My 2010 collapsed a lifter at 278k miles, I pulled the head and replaced the lifter but it had damaged the cam so a lesser knock but still a knock after replaced. 280K now so 2k miles on the knock and it isn't getting louder. I know it isn't an exhaust leak since I can pull the rockers off...

    help choosing a radiator

When it came to Radiator and motor mount they were the cheapest around too. They use to have a clearance section and loved it, but they got rid of it.

2022 6.2 High Country - Low Oil, Likely Blown Motor

Even back in high school a friend had one of those late 70s big boat buicks or oldsmobiles he kept getting a oil pressure warning light when he turned corners. Him and his dad finally changed the oil and what came out barely filled up a 1 quart bottle. So even with that little he still had...

2022 6.2 High Country - Low Oil, Likely Blown Motor

Still as I said the pickup should be on the bottom and work with even a few quarts. My Vette I had to drive it a lot and didn't check the oil and it was below the dipstick and still had oil pressure it was over 2.5 quarts low on a 5 quart pan.

2022 6.2 High Country - Low Oil, Likely Blown Motor

Even if you were down to 4 quarts it should of had oil pressure. Unless chevy put the oil pickup location like 3 inches from the bottom of the pan. My Gallardo holds 10.5 quarts and the fill procedure is to put in 5 quarts and start in then add the rest, yes dry sump but still you should have...
