P0171 Most Common Cause W/O Driveability Issue
Update to P0171 trouble code. Believe I got it resolved by replacing purge valve. I know code doesn’t point to this but since I replaced it and cleared codes (battery disconnected for 10 minutes), no check engine light and gas mileage is improved, runs great as well.- Richard Blakely

P0171 Most Common Cause W/O Driveability Issue
Anyone ever hear of a pcm replacement causing an erroneous P0171 trouble code? Ever since my computer was replaced (for another reason). P0171 shows up with check engine light. Any troubleshooting done by qualified techs have come back with no problem found.- Richard Blakely

Driver door rattle
My suburban had that. Turned out to be a loose bolt holding the electric window motor. There are about 5 bolts. Check them all- Richard Blakely

07 Tahoe check engine light
Local mechanic read odbc code. Apparently a more detailed code than Orielly showed. It showed a cylinder misfire on cylinder 5 (5.3l v8). Mechanic found the wire to plug was not on properly. He cleaned and fixed and cleared code. So far no problems. Need to test for 4-5 days to confirm fix- Richard Blakely

08 Yukon Denali climate control issue
This happened on my 12 Tahoe. I found in drivers side headliner, a small round removable vent. Took this out and found some **** that was blocking the area. This was due to a microphone that was installed for new radio. I removed tape and repositioned microphone and replaced cover. AC has...- Richard Blakely

07 Tahoe check engine light
Code says mixture too rich on bank 1. Runs ok and have replaced mass airflow, spark plugs and wires, o2 sensors. Air hoses appear to be good. Suspect pcv valve. Any additional items to check?- Richard Blakely

I would put money on motor mounts. I have 2 tables that had a bad jerk when going from a stop. Motor mounts solved it- Richard Blakely
