wow....this forum is terrible:(
A whole week and no response and no other responses in any other threads. So NOBODY is on the Hybrid part of this forum...
See ya
My '08 goes in next week for inspection and I'm worried they might fail it due to the tires getting a bit low on tread(50k miles). I want to be prepared if they do say I need them.
I know a bunch of you have aftermarket rims but I guess this still may apply.
Anyone have recommendations on...
Well. I should have just paid the Stealership the $600 they said it would cost to replace as it was a huge pain to get out.
Haven't even attempted to get it put back in yet. Have to hope the hydraulic store can put new fittings on it meaning i'll need to carry it on my motorcycle Monday...
Well. The Stealership did exactly what I knew they would yet I went anyway so I guess it's my fault.
They charged me $150 to tell me their computer found no starting issues over the past few weeks and said the leak was in the trans cooling line and that isn't covered under powertrain...
Well the weird starting issue seemed to stop when either a new tank of gas was put in or it got a bit warmer.
BUT
Noticed I'm now leaking something out of the front. Looks slightly red so either trans or power steering.
HyHoe goes into the Stealership next Tuesday. What a POS...
My '08 hyhoe is the suck.
Starting to get tired of how unreliable it's been for such a new vehicle.
4x4 front diff had water in it when I bought the vehicle with 33k
driver side mirror no longer folds in
2 door lock failures
cracked dash pad
AND
I had a lifter failure a few months back that...
Just seeing if there are a few good audio guys out there that can point me in the right direction to get started.
I have an '08 HyHoe.
I have 2x 8" Polk MM's and amp that I bought for my corvette that have been sitting in my basement for over a year now while I work on other stuff on the...
I noticed a small drop or two leaking from my '08 Hybrid 4x4 w/ 40k miles.
Since not many browse the hybrid section and I doubt it's hybrid unique I was hoping to get some help here.
I changed my oil the other day and while I was under there tried to spot the leak. Only place that looked...
It's not like these Hybrids instantly turn to death traps if you touch them when involved in an accident.
And at what point will enough be enough? What if someone dies even with the hybrid stickers on the car? Will all hybrid vehicles be painted safety orange? Then if someone still dies...
It's their job and/or responsibility to do what they need to do in a safe and efficient manor. If they ignore all the training they've had over the years and instantly jump to cutting into the battery then I don't think a tiny green H on the pillar in a wrecked vehicle at an accident scene...
No.
There are plenty of other places throughout the vehicle they can gain the fact that it's a hybrid.(VIN, dash, engine, seat area/battery...)
Badges stay off on mine.
Just went out after it having charged for 30min or so and it fired right up.
I'm not out of the woods yet as the check engine light is still on.... So maybe something is still wrong.
Is there a way I can check what code it's throwing or will Autozone check it for me?
I took it for a short...
I sat my car outside today so I could wax it(not wash as it was clean). Had the stereo running most of the time until it shut off on its own.
Didn't think much of it at the time, figured it was just a safety or timer issue.
It was only on for less than an hour.
Went to go start the car...
