    2010 Z71 running boards

Does anyone know where I could source a used running board for a 2010 tahoe z71? I'm in the DFW area. I'd like the OEM one so the rounded end caps fits into the body panel at both ends. Thanks,

2010 Tahoe brake bleed - one man bottle method gone wrong

ya this sounds absolutely ideal. Maybe I'll just buy one of these instead. It's about the same price as 4 of those special bleeders and with the pressurized bleeder I can use it on anything moving forward. This is a great suggestion, thanks Rocket Man.

2010 Tahoe brake bleed - one man bottle method gone wrong

This is the exact method that I did, with a chunk of pine under the pedal. I did both the front and rear brakes (pad/rotors) since I was getting a break wear indicator sound and the peddle felt soft, so I thought I might have had air in the lines. Fronts were low but not on the squealer, and...

2010 Tahoe brake bleed - one man bottle method gone wrong

It's gotta be one of those things I'm positive it wasn't A, B, D. And I'm almost certain that that the bleeders weren't too far out. The only thing I can think of is the master cylinder is shot.

2010 Tahoe brake bleed - one man bottle method gone wrong

I changed it because the fluid hadn't been changed since new and the truck has 150k miles on it, the fluid was coffee black. I'm surprised because I found a lot of supporting articles on the one man method so I thought I'd give it a shot while my wife was out of town. What a dumb idea that...

2010 Tahoe brake bleed - one man bottle method gone wrong

I saw a video online for the one man bottle method. I bled the brakes twice last night, each time with various pumping methods and I could not get a steady stream without air bubbles. Now I have a spongy pedal. In the process, I stripped each of the bleeders (car used to see salt when I live...

leveling kit, rough ride & still rubbing with 33s

depends on you definition of problem. someone described their truck in an earlier post as "rides like a lumber truck", there couldn't be a more accurate description of how this Tahoe rides now. Extremely loud shuttering sounds throughout the cabin going over the slightest bumps, and a much more...

leveling kit, rough ride & still rubbing with 33s

thats a 10 ply tire. I might make the switch to the LT275/65R18 to keep me in the 6 ply range.

leveling kit, rough ride & still rubbing with 33s

I am used to the cushy 6 plys. Can someone recommend a new 6 ply tire in size 275/70R-18? I'm going to ditch the BFGs, they are just too stiff for a pavement crawler. Sucks cuz they are such a great tire when you need the offroad performance, and they look awesome too. I can't really find any...

leveling kit, rough ride & still rubbing with 33s

that I am....however I don't think its just the tire. I think it is partially due to the geometry suspension right now. I also cannot believe that I have not heard more complaints from people on this forum that have leveled their trucks with larger tires. I thought I was covering my bases by...

Thank you for the explanation, this is very thorough and helpful to me. I will look into this more. Nice looking truck! Aren't most 33s E rated?

leveling kit, rough ride & still rubbing with 33s

Haha understood. But what about everyone else that is running 33s on 1/2 tons? Aren't most of them E rated? I went with the BFG A/Ts because of reputation, and I've had smaller sizes on smaller SUVs and they've been great tires. Now that I have this Tahoe and wanted to run a little lift with...
