    Running boards were working fine. Passenger side retracts ok for the most part, but when the door is closed it makes a grinding noise like a seal (the marine animal). Motor keeps trying to pull them closed, but can't. With a little help the running board will close, but still lots of grinding...

    Yes, it's not the Aux button. No air blowing out the back no matter what setting it's set to. I checked all the fuses that had to do with HVAC operations (I think) none are blown. Could it be one of the larger "fuses" in the fuse block? How do I check? What's next on the checklist?

    Sunlit, I'm confused, I thought that's what the links above said to do. I used the straw that came with the sea foam spray. What did I do wrong? For clarification, the booster line was done a month ago...

    Ok, I sprayed full can of Sea Foam spray through the intake, let the truck sit for 30 minutes... only a little bit of smoke. When I did the half can through the booster, I had massive amounts of smoke. Drives the same, we'll see if the MPG increases during the next tank of gas.

    99 Escalade compared to 99 Tahoe? I thought I read it had something to do with difference handling expectations (escalade=softer feel, 454SS pickup = tighter handling).
