    The other issue i've found with the ones i've been able to locate is the amount of rust on them and how much these places want for the part itself. I'm not paying $250 for 12yrold rusted impact bar that I have to pull and transport myself.

    Yeah It's kind of shocking how well they are holding their value, I sold mine for the exact price that I paid for it back in 2019 when I purchased it from a dealer, just with 48,000 miles added to it (albeit a good amount of mods included too)

    The clear silicone adhesive is a good idea, I might look into that because I found another small crack on the opposite side. I have a 2008 C6Z06 (she's on the left) and a 2014 SS, although I just sold the SS but I might be buying it back at the end of the year :cool:

    I'm 100% going to take you up on this as i'll have a lot of questions over the course of the year next few weeks ;). Right now I'm trying to figure out what exact the Anti-theft button triggers...if anything.

    Thank you sir, I'm loving this truck so far and can't wait to start my own build thread soon. I just swapped the interior lights today for LEDs and going to do the backup cam/mirror hopefully in the next week.
