If techs update the software, does it not list that in the vehicle history on the infotainment screen? I can see the updates I clicked to 'install' but I'm not aware of any that were done by the dealer when I brought it in for maintenance. I didn't ask or look but I do still have all the...
I'm also noticing that I can no longer zoom in on the map anymore (stock GPS, I'm not using car play at this time).
If I try to zoom in/out I can either see the entire world (almost) or my 'normal' zoomed in view. I can't drag/move the map around, either.
Not from this last OTA update but from the one just before it, I've notice that when I switch from any view back to the view where it has the radio on the left and the map on the right, the radio tile loads/has a line on the bottom 75% of the window and after a few seconds it fills up and takes...
Another update today. After the install (if I remember) I will check the update history to see what was included. This time, I could not see what was being updated only that there was an update.
Possibly, but my 2020 didn't do that and if I do go off of the backup camera and not my mirrors then I would be too far to the right side parking line.
I'm not trying to avoid using my mirrors, I use both (mainly mirrors) and when the backup cam is 'off' I always look back at my mirror to make...
I've noticed that the guide lines on the backup camera don't match the actual distances/are not accurate.
When I back in to a parking spot, I'll use my mirrors and see that there is about 6 inches of space between my vehicle and the parking line, but if I look at the guide line in the backup...
Another update today, I did not get the number but the description said that it was related to the cabin vents. Maybe they are fixing something that broke in a previous update?
Update on my issue with the rain sensors, I took it in to the windshield installer, they looked at the sensor and said they'd replace it. They replaced the sensor and tested, several time, with a hose, wipers activated when water was sensed.
It is listed as being replaced on the paperwork.
I brought it in (had appointment set) they looked at the sensor from the outside when I dropped it off and the installer said 'the sensor has to be replaced' they replaced it in about 5 minutes then asked me to come into their shop area to...
I found out the sensor wasn't working when it rained. Since the initial rain, there have been at least 5 other storms that I've driven through where I tested the sensor, it doesn't work. I would have not made this thread if I had not tested the sensor, respectfully.
I have an appointment to bring it in so they can take a look, but the office manager, over the phone, said 'we've never seen this issue before, we don't know what it could be' and this was after speaking to the person that changed out the windshield (after puttng me on hold to ask).
