See, that's why you never pretend to know everything. Because chances are, there is always someone that knows something you don't this is why forums exist. I would imagine cross references live data from that module should be able to show if it's getting things out of whack or not and...
Thats a great question. I've been to busy wtih work and other things around the property to spend much time on it. that's part of the reason i punted it to my buddy, he needed some extra scratch, and he needed something to do. Everyone wins. From what he had found on it, it's a feature...
Alright, so pretty sure we've found the issue. Still going to try and confirm it this week when we have time to mess with it some more.
Buut for everyone that said it was grounds, and i was all like "yeah i'll check 'em but i don't think that's the problem" i was right. you were wrong...
I'm very insightful. This one time. at sight camp. We used sight glasses to look at each other to confirm we were all in sight.
Like yeah, they are punch me in the crotch expensive. but they are worth it compared to the other options on the market. a D2S conversion might outperform...
they will exceed the MLED retrofit, mostly due to haivng more LED proejctors in them then the MLED Retrofit would do. a D2S retrofit would be about the only way to exceed the output on these
Yes, things cost money. Nice things cost more money then bad things. this is the way the world...
And 95% sure @BlaineBug was referring to the primary ground from the battery to frame on the passenger side, just going over and through all of his posts since he hasn't be online in over a year to clarify his thought process....but such is life. That's why the lords of Kobol invented the...
Also eff me, since here i am spam posting like some sort of guy with ADHD hanging out at a disco. But the other question i was thinking, do most of the ground spots have room to get a needle descaler in there? or should i plan on complaining as i clean up grounds by hand?
I took a mental note of this, and now since i'll be having time this weekend (wife is heading off to a rodeo with her dad, so i get me time / garage time without interruptions) and figured i should check do you have a thread showing exactly where you added these, if there were pre-existing...
And yes, i would like to compile as much informative info into this thread as possible to help others, since every other thread i found seemed to dead end. i intend on reporting what i find
Alright so after much research and limitless knowledge. I did find a helpful TSB
https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10209138-0001.pdf
So in addition to going over the grounds, i'll be following the TSB checks as well
I also found this quote, from this thread
Which makes me wonder...
I guess i didn't say that, but yes that was part of the plan
Battery isn't showing any signs of discharged state, that's why a load test is going to be more imformative then anything else
So i didn't get a chance to go over the grounds, but there is definitely an issue somewhere. Was working fine, went to take it out Saturday, and the power running baords and doors and everything was fine, got into it, and the entire vehicle went dead. I'm going to pull the battery and get...
I've always hated satelite view within GPS. I prefer the more simplified view when looking at maps, but that could be because i learned to read maps back in the day when they were physical maps that could block out half the vehicle while the passenger frantically fumbled with it to figure out...
See, now this sounds like a good idear. This would be terrifying at high speeds, let alone low speeds turning into a parking lot.
Also i didn't say i've checked all the grounds, just that i knew that would be a suggestion and i guess implied was already on my list of things to look at this...
