2013 Chevy Tahoe Z71 PPV Outfitted, Battery drains overnight.

Bump, Once I localize the issue in a circuit via parasitic draw testing through yanking fuses or disconnecting equipment I'll run a voltage drop test after I make sure it's getting power, and OHm's out right.

The time scale for it to drop is odd, it's immediately 110 then drops down to eventually 49 but it isn't slow enough to watch etc. It seems to drop steady when the BCM fuse is pulled or if it's installed, so I don't think it it's the BCM. There isn't a immediate difference. Lights in the...

Yeah so it was pulling 110mA immediately when connecting leads but slowly drops to about 60 then eventually through out pulling fuses (to hopefully see an immediate difference in draw and pinpoint AT LEAST the affected system/circuit) It eventually settles in between 49-48mA KOEO of course.

Battery was replaced in January, 12.3 was my reading but this is not after a charge. It was when I showed up on site. Guy said the battery charged and tested fine at the local parts store prior.

lack of the 2nd battery in what appears to be a battery location on the driver side by the front apron seems it may have had one at one time but It doesn't any longer. I'll double check for the wiring but I didn't immediately notice any disconnected battery cables in the vicinity. The main...

Thanks for the response, We did do a amperage draw test while the vehicle was off, I posted that above in the post but maybe I didn't explain well. In summary It was about 110.0 and slowly dropped to about 49.3 throughout the whole process. However we never saw a drastic change or difference...

Back at it again, this time with a GMT900! I have a buddy that owns a 2013 Z71 Tahoe 4x4, it is pretty much loaded. It was however outfitted as a PPV vehicle. He is the 2nd owner. I appears to have the whole 9 besides the rear seat delete for suspect containment. However it has a partial...

The EBCM Nightmare, & how to get the module programmed.

Gentlemen, I found what I believe is the issue. EBCM Solution Video Long story short, the ignition cylinder was shot, we replaced it with a cheap Dorman model, that came with two keys and a fob. Well after replacing the turn signal stock I discovered that the ignition cylinder gets stuck and...

The EBCM Nightmare, & how to get the module programmed.

10-4 just ordered the MDI2 clone linked above, I think I'm gonna hit some Goodwill's for a cheap laptop today. Should be here Monday so I'll probably get back with you when If I can't get it programmed. I'll write up a summary in this thread too that way 5 years from now someone can find the...

The EBCM Nightmare, & how to get the module programmed.

I'm gonna pick up the eBay right now, but I may look into that Autel maxiflash for myself eventually, does that one operate the same as this MDI2 clone? I'm going to pickup a laptop specifically for this kind of stuff, probably a cheap Thinkpad with windows 10. All I need to do is download...

@Doubeleive do you have a link to your specific MDI2 passthrough, that way we can troubleshoot any issues I have a long the way.

The EBCM Nightmare, & how to get the module programmed.

I'm going to check the grounds on the driver side body mount tomorrow and clean them off, apparently that's where the EBCM grounds itself. I'm still thinking either this EBCM is faulty internally or it needs to be programmed.

I know that this link, Yaw rate trouble shooting calls out to replace the YAW rate sensor and then reprogram the ECBM.

Alright, 30 minute ride and all speed sensors functioning fine, no drop in speed, lack of data etc. check their connections and wiggled them a good bit to see if a code set, nothing. Removed the EBCM connector and cleaned it out with some contact cleaner. All pins and everything looks fine. No...
