if you had the battery disconnected the ambient temp sensor will appear "stuck" until you drive it 55mph for about 5 miles. usually sets... -

Welcome to the forum, eventually, from Oregon. Make sure you clean and lube the caliper guides and at the end of the pads.

the inside pad "might" wear a little more than the outside, but not by much and in any case left & right side should look equally worn...
