Thoughts on Dipping exterior plastic body trim
I have never dipped anything so any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. I am working on my 05 4WD Z71 for my son (who will be 16 soon) and thinking about trying to dip the plastic trim around the bottom of the body. It is just beginning to fade and I thought this would freshen it up... -
Cant shift to park - Shift Cable maybe??
Found the part on Amazon for $35, both upper and lower cable. I only replaced the lower cable. Not too bad at all, pretty simple. Needle nose pliers required - connecting the two cables back together with that itty, bitty clip was a chore. Other than that, perfect. Thanks for the help!- K1slugger

I would like to know that as well. I am in the same spot with the orange needles. I wonder if the trans temp needle would just sit dormant if there is truly no wire for it in the wire assembly? -

see this other thread as I am in the middle of doing the same. Katzskin does not offer any longer for some of the older models (I drive an 05) - at least that is what they told me 2 days ago. theseatshop.com is about the best replacement I have found, however, I am going to do mine myself... -
Steering wheel Control Light Replacement
I did the exact same replacement and the wires are really too short - I actually tied a piece of fishing line around the wire to help hold. I replaced all four - I was afraid it would look different. -

How to fix Hot Air when A/C is on. Install new air mix/blend door actuator
WHITOUT - I have had to do this for mine as well and this info/pics is spot on - really nice job. Question for you....Does that actuator on the passenger side control the Driver air or the Passenger air? Where is the other actuator located? Thanks for the help -

They actually flushed it and cleaned it. I also had the intake cleaned and and all the plugs and plug wires replaced, tire R&B, new front shocks, oil change and a new drive shaft. Pretty much a full tune up a week PRIOR to the flush and cleaning. But once we did the flush and clean it was...- K1slugger

Adding aux-in and/or Bluetooth to 2005 Yukon?
Isimple is the way to go - just installed about 2 months ago. Bluetooth, Aux port and still all controls. Pretty simple install too.- K1slugger
