    sceeching I dont think it is the tensioner it was making that noise with the old tensioner. I notice the belt rides back and forward a bit but noise doesnt seem to be coming from there. I spray conditioner on the grooves and it quiets down. Im stomped guys.:emotions122::shocked:

    Screeching Its a new belt and did the soap thing and made no difference, it only quiets down when i spray it with conditioner on the groove side. Anyone have a pic of the proper position the of the tensioner on a 95? tensioner looks a little low to me but thats the proper belt for that...

    Tahoe whining noise

    my 95 tahoe has a whining noise and i dont know what it is. it increases when i accelerate. Voltage is fine so I dont think it's the alternator. I was thinking it was either the ps pump or fuel pump. I have heard this noise on several gm vehicles. Any help is apprecited.

    Drive belt giving me problems!

    Belt Take belt off clean your pullies and wash the belt with degreaser and also the pullies. Mine had a similar noise but what it was, belt had tons of build up causing it to kinda stick to the pullies. Try it, easy and practically free. Just spray a bit of belt conditioner to condition it...

    Proper AC PSI on 95 4x4 tahoe with only frt AC

    Also Apprx. what should be the lapse between compressor kicking on and off? Mine Reads 40 PSI and 5 seconds later compressor kicks on and brings it down to 30 and 5 secs later shuts off and so on.
