The sensors can be going bad and still not throw codes. If you have a code scanned you can watch the voltage from the sensors. If they are good both banks will fluctuate fairly close with each other in a rhythm. If they are bad they will bounce in different directions and do odd things.
Your coolant level is low. The reservoir is full of junk making you low coolant indicator not work. You probably have a intake gasket or a head gasket leaking that is causing all of this.
Typical problems. Easily fixed.
I dumped my hoe. It was doing the same thing and the wife didn't...
All or none on these awd drive vehicles. Chaining one end will freak the traction control out. Chains on both will probably freak it out anyways. It would be fine if you had a 2 speed awd tcase and ran it in low.
Just a follow up on this if anyone is interested. I found the problem.
It was a weak signal from the front passenger wheel speed sensor.
Normaly when you spin the wheel by hand you should get 100mV ac without much effort. On this hub I was barley getting 100mV when I spun it as hard...
I get a code for the right and left bank running lean every once in a while. It did it quite a bit before I changed the o2 sensors. Sea foaming it probably fouled the sensors. I wouldn't run sea foam with e85. I had more problems with it when I did.
I guess I never even answered the original question. I think dinalis had awd. Possible single range.
Awd bites in anything other that mild snow and mud. Traction control and stability works great on the gravel roads.
There are 2 types of awd transfercases and 1 type of 4x4 in these years mostly.
The bw 4481 is a awd single range case. The power is split through a differential with a 40/60 split in power. The traction control is controlled through the brake system as is the stability system.
The...
I had that problem not to long ago. I thought it was coming from the front end but it wound up being from the rear. Turns out it most have been something in the parking break drums. I used the break a couple of times and it hasn't done it since. Probably not your problem but it might be...
Got an abs code for a rear wheel sensor. I assume that is causing it. Is there just one or two sensors? I Don't remember seeing any at eh rear wheels. Would it be the one on the output of the transfer case?
Traction Control issues
The past couple of days my traction control has been randomly coming on when I leave from a stop. It has always been on dry pavement and never on any hard acceleration. I am assuming that a speed sensor is messed up in one of the wheels. Anyone else seen this problem...
1.80 a gallon for e85(maybe lower I can't remeber) Premium was 2.89 e10 2.59 and 87 octane is 2.69. I would still use it if it cost the same as regular because I like to farm and I work at an ethanol plant.
Replace the plug if it was like that. The parts guy told me that normaly when the resistor goes out it is caused by the blower motor.
I have been fighting mine for 6 months I am on the 3rd motor and 6th resistor pack. With the blower I have now the bearings almost instantly got tight...
