Manual calculations.
My tires are 6% bigger than the factory size, so the speedometer is off, therefore the miles per tank is off by 6% as well.
However, when I do the manual math on the miles and how many gallons per fill up, it's normally almost exactly spot on to what the on board tells me...
Just wrapped up a 3800 mile road trip to Northern Idaho and back. Tahoe ran flawlessly.
I set the cruise control around 80 the whole way, rather than the 85 I did last summer.
Was impressed with the fuel economy I got 20.6mpg on the way up 19.7 on the way back.
Not bad for being weighed down...
One of my low beam headlights went out. VLED LEDs lasted 4 years. Not too upset, bought another set because if one went out, the other one probably isn't far behind.
Should be here this week, luckily fairly quick to swap out.
Did some good maintenance this weekend.
Changed motor oil (Driven DI30)
Changed rear diff fluid.
Flipped “the pill” (thermostat) on the new trans.
Changed the main drive belt.
Finally took apart the area under the steering wheel and got rid of a rattle that was driving me insane.. Turned out to...

Nice! I should do this with mine.
Curious to see how healthy she is. I know the Driven DI30 5w30 is top notch oil, but seeing some lab results is a good idea.
Thanks for sharing

When I have more money and time down the line, I'll upgrade the converter myself.
This is my daily and I'm just glad to have it back and driving only being down 3 days. Driving my Camaro to work is fun and all, but worrying about parking, door dings, and it still being there at the...
It's the updated AC Delco one. Apparently the part number has been superseded 3 times by GM so they clearly knew it was an issue and had to keep updating.
Figure if the last one lasted me 125k miles this one should last a while too.
Picked my Tahoe up from the dealership after having them replace the 6L80 that went out last week.
$7600 later and she's back at home.
Going to pull the file and send it to my buddy who tunes all my Chevys (Ryne Cunningham) tomorrow. He'll update it the ECM and TCM tune again.
Sucks that the...
