I do like this truck and it doesn’t have any rust. However everything is adding up, especially to get the truck where I want it to be. It’s to the point I’m not sure if I’d be better off starting over with something entirely or keeping with the known issues. I can do a lot of the work myself, I...
As some of y’all know I have a 2003 GMC Yukon SLT, salvage title with 244k miles. I’ve enjoyed owning it and it’s in decent condition.I want everyone’s thoughts on keeping or selling. Recently I’ve developed hard shifts out of first gear, so I’m sure trans is going to be needing a rebuild soon...
Finally got my new components installed. Threw some subs and double din I already had in as well. As soon as my taxes come in it’ll be time to redo the front suspension and get new tires.
Started on the sound deadener for the audio upgrade, realized the stock speaker were trashed. And then stopped after getting pissed off that both rear door panels were broken. Seriously is it that hard to take door panels off correctly?
Not to bad use a heat gun and take your time. Most of the adhesive will come off without leaving residue. After I got them off I used goo gone and an $7 eraser wheel I ordered from Amazon, for any residual adhesive. I think it took me 1.5 hrs, mainly cause mine were all busted up already.

Appreciate that, your rig looks pretty nice. Mine looks good from the right angles, needs some work for sure. Such as side moldings removed and a new front clip. But it’ll get there in time.
I have a 2003 GMC Yukon SLT. I’m trying to find a radio harness adapter. I know this has been posted a lot on here. However, here is my issue I have Bose on all of my door panels, but I don’t have on-star or steering wheel controls. I cannot seem to find a radio adapter for just the Bose system...

I wanted to take a minute and introduce myself and my Yukon to everyone. I’ve recently acquired a 2003 Yukon SLT. I’ve owned several GM products in the past however I’ve always wanted a Yukon or Tahoe.
She’s got some higher mileage sitting at 240k now. So far I’ve just been working on getting...
