I'll answer my own question in case anyone else cares. I was successful replacing just the LCD screen vs the whole unit. That said, both screens stopped working once I did it. Cracked Rear Entertainment Screen
Anyone else try the LCD replacement for $450 option? I did that on my ‘21 suburban and now neither screen will turn on. Up front on the dash it says “connect device” for each screen. I called GM and they just said to take it to a dealer.- Greene9525
