That UPR catch can works for 2016 Yukons. It sits a little higher than I'd prefer.
As far as I can tell there isn't any rubbing on the hood fabric area.
Perhaps they're worried about it freezing in the winter, since it is kinda far from the engine? Generally speaking I park in the garage so...
I ordered a new amp following this threads advice: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/2019-yukon-key-fob-range-blows-what-would-you-do.112937/page-6
Rock Auto only has 1 for the 2016. $20? It's worth a shot.
My guess is the hoses aren't long enough to mount it to the firewall. I might try the Silverado one and see if I can find and alternate mount location. A different thread mentioned freezing so I'll keep it away from the front.
Kinda sounds like how the injectors started to go on my '16 6.2
But if you successfully ran a few tanks of seafoam through it you might've cleaned them enough to keep going.
Hi all,
The buttons to lock/unlock the doors on the passenger side don't work. The drivers side work just fine.
The doors themselves lock/unlock just fine, whether it be with any button from inside/or a remote.
I've tried putting the remote on the drivers side(inside and outside) and...
Hi all,
For a catch can, which line does it go to?
A: The small one from under the intake to just behind the intake
B: 2 of them. One for each valve cover into the air intake
Also, what have you done for a catch can? DIY? Or something more like this...
Oh wow you really went to town on that eh? Good job!
I wasn't nearly that thorough. I used paper towel as far I could just my hand or a pair of needle nose pliers into it. I saw some larger pieces of crud fall down against the valve. I used one of those claws on a flexible stick to retrieve...
I addition to my multiple posts above:
I can't believe I forgot! 7/8 of my injector seats were filled with crud. Either a mix of sand (that had somehow accumulated in and around the injectors) or with carbon crud deposits.
I ended up spending probably 4 hours over a few days cleaning them. I...
How'd your injectors look? 2 of mine had visibly separated as I pulled the rail. Didn't matter since I had 4 new ones, but I'd worry about the other 2. If there was some minute stress fracture that wasn't easily identifiable.
This forum keeps suggesting your posts in the "Similar threads" section. I've spent my entire driving life ragging on American vehicles. I finally decided to take a chance. Being that this is my first ever American vehicle and I kept running into problem after problem I was very worried that I...
Nope. Try as I might to be gentle I bent the left side fuel rail.
That's the side you (apparently) can't just order. I suspect because it has the fuel rail pressure sensor on it.
I found one on Amazon that should get here next Monday (yay rural living!). I think it is for the L87 vs the L86...
