Autoanything.com -the worst people to deal with

Just wanted to let everyone on here know that Autoanything.com is the worst vendor that I have tried to buy from. I used to be a happy customer of theirs. I have spent a lot of money with them over the years. I am a very loyal customer and try to stick with companies that do a good job. I don’t...

Bought the Yukon and should be picking it up next weekend. Think I’m going to do the 6” lift from Rough Country. Any additional mods recommendations?

Any other advise? I always like opinions from others. Helps me think in other ways than I might.

Probs putting an Exelbrock supercharger on it so it will have new gaskets.

As much as I enjoy working on cars, I dislike the business of cars. Ok back to my question, any bulletproofing ideas?

The easy answer is that since he owns his own ASE certified shop and he is my godfather, I think it is a pretty safe bet that this Yukon had been maintained meticulously. I actually grew up working in his shop. This Yukon has been his wife’s since new and has never been Offroad.

Armor is not an issue. That I have covered. Engine and trans is not an issue. I also have that covered. I can’t carry enough in an utv or atv. A square body is ideal, but finding one that is not a pos is going to be next to impossible. Building one is going to be an ordeal that I don’t want to...

Trails are game trails. No “roads” except for what I make. 2 small streams. Not rock crawling, no sand to speak of. Just 100% unimproved west texas terrain. Going to be camping out there. I want to lift the truck, but I’m going to have to drive there in the truck so I want it to be roadworthy as...

Yeah, I thought about an old Suburban, but it is going to be too long and finding one in decent condition is going to be tough. I have a lead on a Yukon that only has 94k miles.

I am looking at a 1998 Yukon for some serious off reading and my new hunting rig. I know about the Vortex water intake issue so I’ll take care of that first, but give me some ideas for reliability mods. Last thing I want is to be stranded 20 miles from anywhere.

So what is the tallest, safest lift for an older Yukon. Looking at a 98 4 door 4wd for a hunting rig. I have some pretty rough terrain to go over so I need a lot of ground clearance.

    Mpg with leveling kit

The leveling kit will change the aerodynamics of the truck a little bit, but it is not enough to make a measurable difference on mileage. It is like everyone else has said, the tires will make a difference. I went to a 275-60-20, with a leveling kit. The tires are about an inch taller and I have...
