Thump Front Drivers side
Haven't been here in a while. But yea, it was the left motor mount. i replaced it 3 times before i sold it last year- f16z28

2007 Yukon XL anti theft question
So, my wife was driving home and the truck started to stumble then died. she started it and drove another 50 feet and it died again. I go to pick her up and it seems like the battery is dead so I guess bad alternator. I replace it and we try to jump it, no good. I swap in a new battery and...- f16z28

Update. Just replaced the lower ball joint. Problem is still there. Gonna so the upper next. But the bottom had definite m movement in it so it wasn't a total loss- f16z28

Update- So I got back under it and pryed on everything. I got the drivers side lower ball joint to move some. So I got a new one and will be installing it this weekend. I'll let you know how it turns out- f16z28

So I've been trying to diagnose this thump I've had since I bought my 2007 Yukon XL 6 months ago. From a dead stop or very slow roll, when I accelerate there is a thump that you can hear and feel from what feels like under the front left area of the vehicle. I thought it was a bad ball joint...- f16z28

lopes at idle dies when turning
I have a 2003 Yukon XL 1500 with the 5.3 V8. So I pulled my battery out to fix a problem with the windshield wiper fluid container and then reinstalled it. After this the Yukon xl started loping in idle and occasionally die during a turn. I've disconnected the battery before for other stuff...- f16z28
