Head gasket YAY!!!
Just did my intake gaskets a couple mths ago. The gaskets are plastic and they crack and leak. Your lucky its leaking outside the motor and not in. Do the fuel pressure regular while your in there too.- Enem178

Thanks!! What can I say about her.. Its a 97 with 99k on her. I actually just got done doing the intake manifold gaskets a couple mths ago. I upgraded to the new style gaskets with the metal. I replaced the regulator while I was in there too. I have pix of that install if anyone needs them. I...- Enem178

Yeah I used to have another GM that would do the same thing. After a minute or so it would stop. I asked somebody about it back then and he told me that condensation was building up in the drum and that was causing the lock up. I couldn't see how but I couldn't come up with anything else...- Enem178

Have you had...
Do u notice it when the truck is parked for an extended time during a hard rain?? It could also be that they are adjusted to tight and when u apply the brake during a hard stop they lock up prematurely.- Enem178
