    Highway gas mileage

2015 Denali and we get about 13-14 with my wife’s normal kiddo shuffle within about 5 miles of the house. Gets 16-17 if she mixes a good amount of farther errands but any trips we take it easily gets 21-22 mpg and that’s calc’d in my app not off the read out. We always run Premium 91 octane...

Did the magneride delete with Arnott setup, here is a full run down

Interesting, didn’t know that about the sway bars… and I’ll have to keep an eye on the sag. We have over 2k and they seem to be okay so far

Did the magneride delete with Arnott setup, here is a full run down

2k mile update: we’ve put some miles on the Denali since swapping these out with the Arnotts and finally pulled our travel trailer out to the coast a couple of weekends ago. I do notice slightly less stability with the trailer hitched up this last time. It was subtle. The mag ride rear shocks...

Arnott sk3354 vs. Acdelco o.e. ride quality?

Yeah you’ll notice the handling being less sporty which I kind of miss but the ride being so much improved is worth it. We carved a few canyon roads and its still handles fine but there is a little floatiness on a few of the transitions. But overall the ride is much less busy… and we were in a...

    Towing with a 4L60E

we towed our 5k lb apex travel trailer with our old 05 Yukon a lot with close to 200k miles on it and it never skipped a beat. We towed a lot of mountain areas too. Original transmission and the fluid had been flushed twice in its life I think. Use tow/haul and if you are going up hill don’t...

thinking of buying an 09 yukon xl

yeah double check the RPO codes and if it has the max trailer package. I thought the trailer g package came with the 3.73 gears but that might have just been the trucks. I will say the long wheelbase of the XL tows much better stability wise than the regular Tahoe. Lot less tail wagging the dog…

    2015 Denali vs 2016 Tahoe

That’s disappointing but we had a similar experience. We looked at quite a few when we were shopping and many of them had been ridden hard an put away wet. There is a chance that the Escalade might have been better maintained and it shows. I would check the service history as if it hasn’t...

    2015 Denali vs 2016 Tahoe

Not sure if the Tahoe is fully loaded but definitely a difference in equipment between the 2. If the Denali has the 8speed I’d probably stay away or make sure you have a solid warranty. If the Tahoe is fully loaded you’ll get some pretty solid updates like Apple car play, full auto braking and...

I made it! 2015 Yukon XL Denali, , 300,000 miles

From what I understand and have heard the 8 speeds are actually pretty durable but only get replaced most of the time because people can’t stand the way they drive and their quirkiness… which the blue fluid and some of the TSBs definitely smooth out somewhat.

QQ - Does the 2014-20 Tahoe Premier come with MRC?

Yes it does. Premier was 2017-2020 but was the LtZ from 2015-2016. Pretty much the same car. However the 2017 and then the 2018 had continual improvements they make them a better pick if you can swing it budget wise.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yeah unnerving at first but it’s actually pretty helpful. There’s been times where I just didn’t notice the speed difference up ahead of me and it alerted me and another time when someone’s brake lights weren’t working!

Dash lighting so dim can't read

Yeah if it’s an original battery I would start there. Ours was going bad for a couple of months but kept testing “good” but we had some wierd things and a couple of instances of the car not starting.

    2016 yukon xl Trailer Brake

With how everything runs through the computer system on these things I would bet it need an update to the programming to recognize the trailer brake controller. When you thumb through the info screens in the display, does it give you a screen for the trailer brake? The screen should also come...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Like I said it actually works pretty good -and doesn’t seem to be overly sensitive either and has saved my butt a couple of times.
