AFM disable in M5 gear
Have been driving my 2014 Tahoe, 5.3 engine 4L80 trans with 125k on it in M5 in order to disable the AFM. I also on occasionally tow an approx 4000lb modified cargo/travel trailer. Will this cause any harm to the transmission?- Doc52

V4/V8 issues
On my 2014 Tahoe LTZ 5.3lt eng, simply driving with the transmission in manual gear 5 will turn off the AFM mode, can’t hurt to give it a try?- Doc52

Transmission (TBV) thermostat
Own a 2014 Tahoe LTZ with the 5.3 engine and 6L80E transmission. This is a recent purchase at 125k miles. Vehicle runs great but wish to keep it that way as I will be towing a smaller toy hauler. My research via You Tube has shown an upgrade to the trans fluid thermostat from 190dg to 165dg or...- Doc52
