08 Denali engine overheating
I will take a look at the cooling system again. I will try the burping thing. I'm not quite sure how this would work with the closed system but never the less I will try it. I guess next thing I can try is radiator and pump replacement. Does anyone know if there is a good aftermarket radiator...- dlr2416

08 Denali engine overheating
I believe the radiator fans are working properly. I have manually check the relays and the fans sound like they are spinning fast when the engine is hot. I recently pulled to the side of the road when it got hot and hear the fans running real hard.- dlr2416

I've put at least 10k miles on it since the fluid replacement. Is there still a possibility there would be air in the system after that amount of time? The issue is hit or miss. I pulled up a mountain for a few miles in heat on and off the gas on a road with a lot of curves no heat issues, then...- dlr2416

My 08 Denali will run 210 all day long, but as soon as I hook up my 5000 lbs trailer and start up any hills (even in 65 degree weather) the engine water temp will take off (235+ degrees). I want to know if there is an after market radiator with better cooling abilities or if there is something...- dlr2416

Very strange overheating problem last weekend
My 08 Denali will run 210 all day long, but as soon as I hook up my 5000 lbs trailer and start up any hills (even in 65 degree weather) the engine water temp will take off (235+ degrees). Header/Exhaust Manifold Bolts??
I have an 08 Denali with the 6.2 and found a broken header bold in my driveway a month ago. Quality control isn't GM's number one concern and hasn't been for years. From what I have read, the exhaust header bolts are made out of brittle steel and tend to snap off leaving a piece in the head...- dlr2416

Broken exhaust manifold bolt
I had a bolt brake off today. I found it laying on my driveway then found the right side rear bolt broken off. Anyone have any suggestions for better aftermarket exhaust bolts? I'm planning on fixing the the bolt soon but don't know if I should take it to he dealer or do it myself. Does anyone... -

Major or minor trans problem help please!!
Sounds like it went into some kind of a limp mode. I had the same thing happen to my 08 Denali when pulling into a parking lot. I though someone hit me. Talking about peeling door handles, I had to have two of my door handles replaced because they broke and almost fell off when I tried to open the doors. Do not ever let the dealer wash your car. Time before last, when I got my black 08 Denali back from the dealer (8th time in the shop in the last year and a half) the paint had swirl marks over the entire car. Extended Warranty
I would definitely purchase some kind of extended warranty if I were you. I have an 08 Denali that I purchased in January of 2010 and I have had it in the shop 8 times now. For everything from a broken motor mount to a shoddy paint job done by the dealer prior to my purchase.- dlr2416
