    Thanks everyone for all the insightful replies. Never really thought about the different weight on the wheels/tires compared to the RST stock setup. I'll post an update once we get past 1,000 miles, and see what's going on at that time.

    We’re in southeast Texas, so not sure if the fuel is any different this time of year than summer … but yeah, we’ll hold off on any real judgements until after it hits 1k miles And our Z71 has a small lift and larger than normal tires and wheels, 22” instead of the factory 20”

    I did notice that while sitting still in park, I could see the average dropping … I’ll chalk it up to break-in period for another few hundred miles … I’ll reset it after we hit 500 and see what it looks like after that Would a new air filter help, K&N? Would a performance chip/plug in help...

    One week in, not driving it any different than the previous model. We were able to get 20-22 on highway trips and averaged ~17 around town. For now it’s just wait and see I guess.

    We just bought a new 2024 Z71 last weekend, and boy does the mpg really suck compared to the 2022 RST we traded in. Anybody else experiencing similar results? I’m barely getting 12-13 in the city, and I can watch the average drop while sitting in the car with it running for just 10-15...

    our '22 Tahoe RST came up with the same symptoms 2 weeks ago in my in-laws driveway, after being driven around town all morning running errands and such ... tried letting it sit for 20+ minutes, then it started right up and was able to drive home ... i go out the next day to start it and same...
